Thanks for the new thread, Leanne!

Thanks for coming to the board, Kim. I thought you'd come back when you felt able to, so don't worry.

I prefer to do editing on my laptop, Leanne. I wouldn't know how to do it on my Fire tablet for sure!

Hi there Stewie.

Thanks for the thread suggestion, Kia.

Leanne, thanks for the new thread.

Stewie I was wondering where you ran away to.

Kia, sorry about the headache, but glad you got some rest.

Claire, yeah, I'm still a bit scattered online at the moment.

That's really funny, Leanne!

That's understandable, Kim!

I'm watching Call the Midwife, and having to explain to my kids what a stroke is! At least they're learning from it!

Cool that they're learning from that Claire. Is it a movie?

Leanne, we need that one. That's such a great post!

Stewie, how have you been? What have you been up to?

And "Call the midwife" has been on my list forever. I watched a few eps when I lived in Britain but somehow never got round to it since
How many seasons are there now?

I've lost count of the number of seasons, Kia. Call the Midwife has been on for years and years now. It's still just as good and relevant now as it was in season 1, though.

I hope you get to see some more at some point.

It does teach us a lot about the past and medical issues, Kim.

EDIT: I looked it up this is season 7.

Kia, Maybe you'll get to see it one day. If you're like me though, I already have lots and lots of things I'll never catch up to.

Sleep well.

Claire, that's great you're able to teach them from the show. I don't do well with health/medical stuff. Do they show it, or just talk about it? Talking I can deal with better. Are you getting sleepy, or wide awake?

Leanne, have some fun while you're out.

I still need to watch Sense and Sensibility on Amazon. I LOVE that movie. Yeah, I have it on DVD, it's just easier on Amazon.

I will have to get off here for a while later on, because I have to address and write my thank you cards for the coloring stuff people sent me, and other sweet things, when I was in the hospital and rehab. I just got the cards on my 2nd outing.

I still haven’t gone out yet, I’m about to have some food, a broccoli cheese noodle bowl and maybe a roast beef sandwich for 1:30 pm lunch, then coffee after that. It’s pouring outside so that doesn’t make me want to go out in it! 😓

There are a lot of shows I’m watching at the same time. But I usually don’t watch forensic crime shows, with the exception of Bones, and I don’t usually watch medical hospital shows either except the Good Doctor... and you probably can figure out the connection of those two shows why I watch those ones

I got distracted by the Brady Bunch, the one where they lose some poster in that amusement park in 1973, it’s fun to see all the people in the background all dressed up so 1970’s clothes! And hair!

Sounds like a good plan, Kim!

Yep, absolutely Leanne, I get why you like both of those shows.

I kind of didn't used to mind going out in rain, even heavy rain, when I was younger. Even severe thunderstorms, but now, I don't like it.

Good luck getting out, getting your food and coffee and getting back without getting soaked.

Ooh! I love the Brady Bunch. I'd give anything if old shows like that still came on anywhere around here. With about 300 channels you'd think they could We do have Alice, and a couple of others though. Love the 70's hair and clothes-it makes me feel not so bad about the 80's.

Have fun out!

The show has births on it but you don't see anything graphic. The show is far more about people and the way they interact. The medical stuff is done in a more informative way rather than anything.

I feel sleepy, Kim. I like Sense and Sensibility too.

I don't want to go out when it's raining either, Leanne.
