The red hair does really suit her, it did take me a while to get used to blonde Gillian at first after the show ended

She's so blonde now!

A married couple that hates each other. I couldn't finish that video, the music is too loud.

I just loved the quotes at the end from Kim Manners

That's the guy who said that! That's what I was talking about before.

The director Kim Manners, he directed some of the very best episodes of the show

I recognize his name for sure and I saw the clip where he says that.

They have a tribute to him in the season 10 revival where Mulder is sitting on a grave saying Kim Manners and ‘kick it in the ass’, which is what he infamously always used to say when he was directing

His death was a great loss for the show He was heavily involved in directing from season 2 all the way up to the season 9 finale, I always felt like part of what was missing in seasons 10 and 11 was that cinematic direction that the original show was so known for, instead in season 10 in particular it was all just the individual writers directing their own episodes

Aww I didn’t know that. I personally think seasons 10 & 11 were well done even though the storylines weren’t the strongest.

Oh I did enjoy seasons 10 and 11 still, don’t get me wrong, just I definitely noticed the difference. It felt more like competent tv direction, as opposed to the direction of the original show being so much more epic and cinematic in scope. The My Struggle episodes in particular felt quite flat compared to the older mythology episodes

I probably have to rewatch these seasons after I’m done with the originals to notice any differences.

To be fair it may have also been that they had a bigger budget back in the day as well

Perhaps. I remember the show being very popular. I also think times have changed so much. These last two seasons felt more futuristic because of all the technology.

It is weird to remember just how much things have changed since the 90’s technology wise, we seem to make bigger and bigger strides every decade

It was fun seeing Mulder and Scully with today’s smartphones after the huge bricks that they always carried with them in the original series
