I find it funny that both of them started out not wanting to work on tv and desired to work in film, but both ended up successful in their careers on tv more than movies to this day!

I dunno if I could handle doing 5+ seasons of a show and it’s easy to imagine getting burnt out

But I’ll never have an acting career so I guess I don’t have to worry!

I guess that most actors prefer movies as it’s more prestigious, as well as being less work in some ways than churning out 22 episodes a year, but there is something to be said too for getting a role on a really successful tv show where you have a guaranteed high payment for every episode

Of course tv is changing a lot these days anyway when it comes to limited shows on HBO, Netflix, Apple etc, so they have become more prestigious in terms of the time spend on each episode. It’s pretty crazy to think that it’s the norm on network tv to make an episode in just 7-8 days, you can’t really blame David for getting fed up with that

Yep and at the same time seasons aren’t as long as they used to be

Yeah, 24, 45 minute episodes to film must have been just all work and no play!



With such a schedule, I can't imagine anyone being able to even have the flu or sickness!
