I had this idea to put David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson in a terrarium in this abandoned warehouse in Vancouver where they were filming X Files. The light was dramatic (for me – which is not THAT dramatic). It didn’t quite work. So I got rid of our big prop and just put them on this pile of pebbles in the same spot. That was closer. It was a serious show so I had them pose seriously. Then…. then…. she wanted to climb up his shoulders – I can’t imagine I suggested this… but who knows. All these years later when I opened this folder of film and saw this shoulder shot – that is the George Lange shot. That is the one totally out of character yet the most revealing.*

I'm pretty sure that was Gillian's idea to climb onto his shoulders, cause look at her big grin!!

That's all a weird photoshoot session, but wow, did they look hot there!!! Not sure why they would be trapped in a thing!!

I suspect it might be the one of them in bed with CC Or maybe the photo shoot where they swap outfits and Gillian is the one holding David, that was a pretty funny/iconic one?
