My earliest X-Files memory is of my dad telling me to watch the show. I was in sixth grade, I think. He told me I'd like it a lot. I ended up getting a X-Files book, and that's actually how I started watching the show. I loved the book, liked the characters of Mulder & Scully, and it didn't hurt that there was a great picture of Mulder on the cover. Mulder became one of my first TV crushes. I thought his passion, devotion, intelligence and dry wit was sexy as hell.

I started watching the show and got hooked on the stories. I always loved the paranormal and the idea of conspiracies/aliens. It was basically everything I could want in a show. It really brought on my love of sci-fi and fantasy.

My first memory of the show is watching the episode Eve with my mum back when the show first started , so I was either 9 or 10 years old and being creeped out by it. Maybe it was because I was a similar age to the twins in the episode at the time that I always remember them and that episode.

The sad thing is, is that I don't remember a lot of my reactions to the show early on, I have a lot of memories from the movie onwards but not much before then just that it was a show that I watched regularly with the rest of my family. I didn't really get fanatical about the show till it was in it's Seventh season (thanks to the internet and me and my brother buying old x-files videos)

I started watching it because my dad did. My first memory of The X-Files is this one scene when these rats I think they were or something came out of a toliet and I got freaked out.

My all time favorite episode is when they pretend to be the married couple in Arcadia. Nothing tops the pink Izod.

Yeah and when I first started watching it I wanted to be Scully when I grew up. haha yes I know, but hey I was young.

Nothing wrong with wanting to be Scully...she's one of the best female tv characters, IMO.

Yeah, she really is. I just love Gillians acting. So touching and brilliant...
And Scully...she's just too great for words. Too bad she doesn't exist for real, hehe!

I started to know X-Files because of my cousine (she 's been a x-philes til the season 3) she really liked the show but I was 10 and my parent didnt' want let me watch it beacuse it was played at 11:30 pm, so I watched just some scene when they were asleep. When I was 13 finally the channel did start to play The X-Files at 9:00 pm. (all I remember about the beginning of my crush for The X-Files is the chemistry between D/G, the fact I wanted to be Scully when I grew up, and all that exciting things about alien and monstars just behind the corner)

My more fun memory is the night of "Triangle", after 6 years of unspoked things and their little dance, one step on, two step back, I couldn't trust my eyes when Mulder kissed Suclly, but again that woman wasn't his Scully.. at the end in the hospital scene, when he call Scully to tell her something, I was on the ground I was on my knees, prayng, but in a lucidity moment I was telling to myself "in all this eyears they've been at tis pointa million time and have never tell what they had to tell, so Chris play again wuth all us", I was going to stop the videorecorder when I heard him thell the words filally. i wasn't breathing, I couldn't.. and then.. she sayd "Oh, brother" as he was crazy... I think I've screemed for the frustration

My first memory of X Files was when I was really young, maybe 5 or 6, and my mom had just put the show on and I thought the music was really creepy, so I ran in and sat down right next to my mom and we watched it together. I was hooked after that.

I started to watch the show after the movie. I think I watched one or two shows on TV and then I wanted to go watch the movie for some reason I went 3 times with my best friend, and after that I was totally hooked. When FTF came out here they were showing reruns of Season 4 (that was during the summer) so I catched maybe the last third of S4. S5 started during the fall of the same year, so that#s really the first x files season I've ever watched.

I remember that when the show first started my friend Kristian and I were little and we would always get on my couch and watch it with my mom, dad, and sister.

I'd caught a few episodes before, but I didn't start watching seriously until S5. I'd seen Gethsemane while staying with someone in 1997 and was properly hooked - I decided to tune in next season and then the obsession grew! XF has some great memories for me.

My first episode with Dod Kalm which I saw at my cousin's house. He was flipping between XF and Real World. I thought it was very intriguing that whatever had made these characters so old was now out there. somewhere. *cue creepy music* I also thought it was sweet that Mulder wanted Scully to drink the water. I loved the chemistry between the two.

My favorite memories of The X-Files all have to do with XPFC. I met some fabulous people and made lifelong friends. I met my first friends from the internet ever in 2000 when we had an X-Phest in Atlanta, GA. I still remember driving to the Children's Hospital to make our donation and singing "David Duchovny, Why Won't You Love Me?" by Bree Sharp at the top of our lungs with the windows rolled down. People thought we were nuts, but we couldn't stop laughing It was awesome!

Man, I remember the day the movie came out, and I went to the first showing. I got my X-files tshirt and cap on, then went and picked my friend. He had only seen a very eps, and he didn't know what he was in for. Needless to say, he acted like he didn't know me for most of the morning.

When Scully burst in the scene, and announced she was going to "Salt Lake City, Utah," all of us hardcore Philes stood up and clapped (since that's where we were....). We'd have been more than happy to welcome her. I remember being on the edge my seat for the kiss...then, BLAM...bee sting.

Ah...good times.

I'm not really sure what my first ep was. I watched it through the first season sporadically, then got addicted for season 2. The first ep I remember watching was "Space."
