Yeah, never ever. I bailed on the last two seasons of the X-Files for Buffy.

I haven't either actually, I dropped off somewhere around season 7 I've seen some clips here and there and read the basic gist of what happens, but I really need to complete the whole series when I get back to my rewatch

A complete rewatch of the series after 20 years can be quite interesting. (Although I don't know if any of you started watching from day one, pilot in 1993) My first round i was a teenager with no life experience and a bit too much innocence. 20 years later, after a stint working as a female in federal men's prison and more focus on relationships, I get much more out of what I missed the first time around, namely, who the heck CSM really was, the true awesomeness of Scully working in a male dominated workplace, coping with danger, and the shipping of Mulder and Scully. All very eye opening! Enjoy!

I’m curious. Could you elaborate a little more on the bolded part?

Interesting you mention that.

I find it interesting that I read quite a bit of 'Buffy'-related news, lately.

Isn't the 20-year anniversary coming up???

I feel like they're thinking about a little reboot as well.

That would be epic.

Haha, there are no 'news'.....but isn't interesting to see things like that, popping up:

March 10, 2017 will be the 20-year anniversary of the 1st Buffy episode airing.

My gut feeling tells me: fasten the seat belts.

Oh, during the first run, I stopped watching after Season 5 and during the 1st five seasons I never really could get a hang on who CSM really was or what he was trying to do, (As a teen I was more into the MOTW stories, not the myth arc),things get explained in the later seasons and watching it now along with the binge ability allows me to finally understand the point of his character.

^ Ah, okay. Got it!

Aww, that pic, Stewie. So sweet. I hope we do get a little something for the 20th anniversary.

I feel the same you do. It's so fascinating. I started watching it 20 years ago with my friends. Every monday evening here in germany and today, 20 years later I sit here again writing over a messanger with my best friend, while a new episode is airing, who had already joined me in the past. We both are still the same chaotic curious teens again, like we had been in the past but on the other hand we are also adult women now with more life experience. Crazy thing to be caught inbetween.
I also rewatch the series again and there are so many new perspectives I get. Some episodes I remember as if there never had been these 20 years. Some I don't remember. But I watch it with totally new impressions and I love it. And there is this same feeling again I totally remember, this XFiles- feeling I also used to feel in the past.

almost forgot what board I was on when I saw the photo of Nicholas and Charisma, I can't believe it'll be 20 years.

I know exactly what you mean, CSM was one of the most and basically still is unsolved X-File for the series
