The 25 Best Episodes of ‘The X-Files ranked
The 25 Best Episodes of ‘The X-Files,’ Ranked
I thought there were some interesting choices on here compared to the usual episodes that always appear in these lists, personally though I would have bumped Dreamland, Arcadia, and Hollywood AD for Pusher, Monday, Field Trip, and Folie à Deux! And I feel like Tombs, Small Potatoes, and Jose Chung's From Outer Space should be on there somewhere too, but now I’m starting to run over 25 episodes Which would everyone else’s picks be? __________________

How the Ghosts Stole Christmas and X-Cops? Really list?
Triangle is number one?! I get everyone have different lists but.. I definitely agree with their reason for not having Post Modern on the list but honestly the list looks disjointed without episodes like Firld Where I Died, Pusher and Tempus Fugit __________________

And I was surprised that Pusher wasn’t on there as well, that’s usually the go to on everyone’s lists. I got the feeling that they were trying to make sure they got varied episodes to represent the entire series, rather than lean so heavily on the usual choices from the earlier seasons. Well that, and also it looks like the person that made that list generally prefer the comedy episodes... __________________

Ack, I have many memories of watching the X-Files so only picking my top 25 would be difficult to sift through.
However, I shall make one, but they aren’t not in any particular order, they were all equally enjoyable to me, some of which I remember the thrill of watching when it first aired. 1 Home 2 Die Hand Die Verletzt 3 Irresistible 4 Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose 5 Humbug 6 War of the Coprophages 7 Quagmire 8 Pusher 9 Paper Hearts 10 Firewalker 11 The Host 12 F. Emasculata 13 Ice 14 Elegy 15 Unruhe 16 Detour 17 Chinga 18 Bad Blood 19 Field Trip 20 Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster 21 Home Again 22 Plus One 23 Rm9sbG93ZXJz 24 Familiar 25 Darkness Falls Well, as you can see, I like the really creepy, supernatural ones, or horrifying ones, and Darrin Morgan __________________

Darkness Falls seems to always get overlooked

^ I almost overlooked it but luckily I had one more space cause it’s quite tense when they are trapped in the cabin with light source energy running out, plus Scully loses her composure when she sees the bugs on her which is unusual for her freak out.

Darkness Falls is such a tense and creepy episode, it’s definitely one of the standouts from the first season
Okay my list is in chronological order, otherwise it’s too tough to sort out by order of favourites 1. Squeeze 2. Ice 3. Beyond The Sea 4. Darkness Falls 5. Humbug 6. Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose 7. War of the Coprophages 8. Pusher 9. Jose Chung's From Outer Space 10. Quagmire 11. Home 12. Paper Hearts 13. Small Potatoes 14. The Post-Modern Prometheus (Sorry, but I love that episode, what can I say ) 15. Bad Blood 16. Folie à Deux 17. How the Ghosts Stole Christmas 18. The Rain King 19. Tithonus 20. Monday 21. Three Of A Kind 22. Field Trip 23. X-Cops 24. Je Souhaite 25. Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster I guess that I prefer the funnier episodes looking over that list, I never realised just how many of my all time favourites are in season 6 __________________

I don't feel like I could make a list right now... I think a rewatch is in order to make an informed decision.
Bad Blood, Small Potatoes, Ice, Darkness Falls, Quagmire, Humbug and Clyde Bruckman are definitely in though __________________

I found some of the chapter books they wrote for kids to read for the X-Files, but I didn’t actually read them myself when I found them, I had to weed them cause not many school age kids would know of the show from 20 years ago!

And Darkness Falls is just a gem. Terrifying in a very classy and classical way XF books for kids? That sounds wrong __________________
