I hadn't thought much about it since the '90's, but once the original credits began and the familiar music started, I slowly became re-obsessed with it, with every new episode. I did an entire series re-watch where the show became a total different experience at my age now than before and I became a renewed fan girl. I came to this forum to talk about it with other fans and found my "tribe" who spoke my language!  I love the spirit of other X-Philes who like talking about Mulder and Scully's chemistry and relationship! Now we are going to have more fun anticipating the new season as it films and airs! I want to say thanks to my fellow posters for making me laugh with their senses of humour and being a positive energy! And thanks to my kind, and helpful co-mod Melanie for showing me the ropes of modding for the first time ever!  We all made it to this special board milestone of 200,000 posts! It's been a fun and interesting journey for me. Here is hoping to more fun in the future!  Leanne/Babybuttoneyes When they started shooting the revival, I started watching all the old episodes and it brought back a lot of memories. I remembered how much I was invested in the show and what efforts I made to get the newest information, fanfiction or spoilers. It was great to revive all those memories. The show meant a lot to me and was a big part of my life. I'm happy the revival happend, you can't bring back the old times but it is great that I can go on another, new journey with this show. Susanne/smoguntia I'm not good when it comes to writing anything down to be honest so this is the best I can do. I'm so proud to be part of such an amazing board, and group of fans who love this show just as much as I do. The idea of being able to post about the favorite things you love about this show, especially with so many loyal fans is amazing. I'm so excited about us reaching the big 200k, and I wish for more to come! It's been such a wonderful journey here throughout the years - since the second film release to the revival of the show itself. I wouldn't change anything! We've been through many struggles a few close calls to even loosing the board - but like Mulder and Scully we never gave up! And this board has thrived because of it. I want to thank you all for making it such a joy to be a mod here, and Kia for helping me make the choice to step up to becoming a mod on this board (where ever you are you are missed) to John who was such a great co-mod and single mod for quite sometime on this board! Truly a wonderful inspiration. And I'd like to give my co-mod Leanne a huge thank you, because she's amazing and brought a lot of energy to the board when it needed it the most! -- I couldn't had been more lucky to be partnered up with such an amazing patient person.
