I have to say I have long since given up on my rewatch, but I did skip all of S9 to watch The Truth and that last scene isn't as depressing knowing that there will be more to the M&S story.

 YAY, I'm watching season 4!  I'm on disc 3 now, watched "Terma" this afternoon. Ew, that black thing creeps me out  but the episode is so good!  And that hug?????? AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW  And I never thought I'd say this but..............I'm kinda starting to like Krycek OMG, I never thought this would happen  __________________

I never liked krycek aha at all... i dunno, he never grew on me. Mayeb it had something to do with the fact he kept trying to kill mulder
