That's very true. Even in S1-3 they had Lindsay and Michael as kids and the same actors playing Lucille and George. I wondered why they "recast" them. I guess it was to add another element to it and I actually think Kristen Wig was perfect as Lucille but Rogen as George was only ok.

certain characters don't carry entire episodes well. but we knew that would be a hurdle. on the whole, good, though getting to the later ones (Lucille! Maeby! George Michael! Buster! FINALLY) was frustrating. Lindsay was especially weak...for a number of reasons.

I have to admit that I agree w/ you on this plus this is my least favorite season because like you said..

Also, I fee like it wasn't all that funny since it seems that it was more serious than they go w/ comedy route.. But my fav def would be Buster, Gob and Tobias so far since I really enjoy their characters so much more than other..

Also, it was about time to see Anna speak up than keep it in quietly..

Interesting that you mention GM and Maebe, not going down the shipper route. I never thought they would develop on it. Although I kinda hoped they at least touch on the fact that they were married, and GM also was excited to have her in his dorm room so there was that flirty aspect of it.

Didn't enjoy Lindsay's episode or George Snr's although it was important to the story, felt like it dragged.

I never thought they'd develop GM/Maeby to the degree they did the first time around, so that they dodged it a bit in season 4 surprised (and yes, vaguely disappointed) me.

Lindsay was, unfortunately, esp. difficult for me to watch in s04. but, the positive: Gob was pretty great.
