Gotta be honest, in the first season he got on my nerve. but I appreciated him when he got older.:look:

:lmao: Agreed. Micheal favorite line: "WALLLLLTTTTT." lol and then I just didn't like Walt... although I did like Walt when he had scenes with Locke, well I liked him when he wasn't around Michael sadly.:look:

Like where he gave Shannon the dog, that was really nice of him.

I loved Walt when he had scenes with Locke too. Not with Michael, I felt bad for Michael but yes he was VERY annoying. Then when he killed Ana Lucia and Libby that was it.

I must say though I enjoyed him when he came back in S5 though

You enjoyed Micheal in Season 5?
I agree with you on Michael, he was annoying and I agree why he did it. People would do crazy things to protect the ones they love.

I always wondered could Michael have went through with the killing if it was someone he knew in the room? like he didn't really have a great introduction with Ana, and didn't really know Libby.

Like if it was Sun and.... Jack in the room, could he have shot them?... I don't think so...:look: It would've been harder for him to pull the trigger.

Although if it was one thing Michael did, it was have the most shocking moment in LOST history. I really didn't see that coming. I was just like :jaw_drop: I was in disbelief.

Yes Locke/Walt scenes were great, I always wondered why Walt instantly connected with Locke. I loved that they reunited at one time when he was a bit older.

Goldenrose 08-24-2012 07:51 PM

That was one of my favorite scenes when they reunited! I don't think Michael could have killed Jack easily either, but then again, who knows? He certainly didn't mean to kill Libby...

eternalfate 08-25-2012 12:32 PM

Agreed.
I just think with Ana and Libby it was much easier... to say a person he knew while he was on the Island. He really didn't know the people from 'The Other 48 Days' lol and they didn't have the best introductions to one another.:look:

So I am curious if it would've been harder.

It's just too bad Walt didn't understand.... which I can understand. No idea why Michael would tell a 10 year old what he did.

ride the lightning 08-25-2012 07:15 PM

I think if it was Sun or Jin or anyone else he couldn't have done it, although you'd do anything for your kids wouldn't you .. it was so hard because there was a man so desperate to get his child in which you felt sorry for him but he killed two innocent people because of it which made me hate him

I did, he was so broken and I thought it was a good SL to bring in. He wasn't bad when he wasn't around Walt IMO.

eternalfate 08-25-2012 07:47 PM

I agree with you all the way. I believe anyone would do anything to protect their family, especially their kid. I just wish he did it in a whole different way.... the only good thing you can say, is that the plan actually worked.:look: would've worked better if he never looked back and told Walt how he killed to get him back.

I'm with you, for me S5 was his best season so I wish we could've seen more of him during that season. He was one of those characters I disliked but when he returned I was like 'It's so great to see a familiar face!!!' lol

I gotta give it to Walt though, he seemed to have a better life than anyone else.....

ride the lightning 08-26-2012 03:38 AM

Yeah Walt could go on to live a normal life whereas Michael never recoverd for what he did, if anything S5 made me sympathise with him either more

eternalfate 08-26-2012 08:50 AM

I agree with you, cause although I disagree with what Micheal did. He did accomplish what he wanted to do and Walt lived a normal life because of it. Because of what Michael sacrificed. It's just too bad they never reunited.

ride the lightning 08-26-2012 06:55 PM

Yep exactly, he made a better life for his son .. really tragic SL :(

eternalfate 08-26-2012 07:38 PM

I'm curious with something... since this whole LOST confuses me. lol
Everyone on the Island died, so um... did Michael really take Walt out of the Island?...if he did, won't that mean. Walt is the only character to survive and have a normal life after Flight 815.:look:
LOST just confuses me... I'm trying to understand what's real and what is not.

ride the lightning 08-27-2012 02:45 AM

Well no, at the end we see Claire, Sawyer, Kate, Miles and Lapidus lesve the island too. So they got off the island and survived and led a normal life too. They died off the island but the ending was showing that the happiest times of their lives where when they were with each other so they were all waiting for each other in purgatory. Walt and Michael weren't there because obviously that wasn't the happiest time of their lives, but I still don't get why Desmond and Penny were there or Aaron because Aaron's happiest moments would have been off the island

eternalfate 08-27-2012 09:11 PM

I'm so confused. Lost really just did that to me. lol
Thanks for that explanation though... Desmond/Penny, I would've assumed they had there happiest moments away from the Island as well...
Walt happiest times was without a doubt off the Island... although if I'm basing on S1. I would say on the Island...
