Still holding out for the sideways though I know it's hopeless.

I think we'll get to see Shoone in the sideways, but I don't want to mention spoilers here just in case.

It makes sense Sayid was shown with Nadia. I mean, she's the love of his life (I don't deny he grew to care for Shannon too though). I think Shannon is Boone's (and vice-versa)

We saw that Shannon truly loved Boone, I thought that was huge. Only in death did she realize how much she did love him. Had he not died and recovered, I think a different story would've emerged.

The show's made it clear Sayid's love is Nadia, he barely remembers Shannon's existence.

Because of all the stuff they were saying about how your past doesn't matter, what you do on the island is what counts. And Shannon said she didn't want Boone, she wanted Sayid

I think they wasted the whole Boone/Shannon storyline, they could have done so much more with them.

But we don't know what the Alt world is yet

Until we do I don't think we can rule out interaction between them.
