the writers have the same reason when they ask Y did they killed shannon's character or Boone's character "is to give way or conflict to other characters. to know them more to realize each anguish" bullsh*@!!!! they can pull that up w/o killing them, i dont think killing them is the last option. but until now i haven't given up the idea that maybe they will come back. as what ian says " the writers R genuis U'll never know what's gonna happen next".
