OMG, OMG, OMG! Welcome back Lost! :jaw_drop: Such a good episode and so many things that left me reeling!
First of all, the Jate scene at the beginning? Full of love.
Second of all, how awesome was Sawyer in tonight's episode? :in_love: So protective of both Claire and Hurley, I loved it! And how badass that he managed to escape the fire of that commando! :thud:
Wow, when Claire's house exploded, I was so sure that she wasn't in there and when Sawyer found her, I was like : 'It's a miracle that she managed to survive that kind of explosion with barely a scratch and a burn on her!'
So Sayid found and married Nadia but then she was murdered and that's why he started working for Ben? Did anyone else think that Ben orchestrated Nadia's murder by setting up the guy who was killed? I couldn't help but wonder when he walked away from Sayid and had that smirk on his face.
And okay, what's up with Ben waking up in the middle of the Tunisian desert with a parka? Can he time travel or something? Did he come from some place cold?
Also, did Ben command the monster to destroy Othersville or did he simply deactivate the fences?
Gah, so many questions! :thud: But that's so cool since at the same time, the story feels like it's moving forward.
Oh, and that was shocking when they killed Alex. My understanding of the scene is that Ben downplaying Alex's significance to him was a sure way in his mind to leave her out of their bargaining. But that seems to have backfired badly on him since it seems that Widmore has changed the 'rules', whatever that means.
And OMG, Ben's totally going after Penny in the future. Do you guys think that she's on the Island since Widmore said something to the effect of 'you'll never find her'.
Guh, I'm so glad that Lost has found the groove it needed with an end date in sight. :woot: This kind of deal should be mandatory among popular shows that have mythologies.
