That's good though, because Ana Lucia was the worst!! Never got over her killing Shannon, then tying up Sayid and brandishing the gun at everyone.

I'm glad they got rid of ana lucia.

I never liked her.

I know lost was about the personal/emotional side of things but dangit! Why JUST get the romance between the 2 of them going only to have it end immediately?

Oh right!! I'd completely forgotten about that part. It's a good thing I'm rewatching all of it. Apparently I've mentally blocked everything after Shannon's death.

Agreed!

It was especially gutting that it seemed like her only purpose was to kill Shannon and leave a path of destruction in her wake.

I always wondered what would have happened if Shannon had lived and she and Sayid had gotten off the island together.

I'm halfway through season 2 now, only four seasons worth of episodes to go before I get another Shayid scene.

Agreed. I would have liked to see her connection to Walt explored some more. Maybe have her start seeing more spirits..

I just got to the ep where Ana Lucia and Libby die. Season 2 was not kind to female characters.

Sayid was telling Hurley about the beach he took Shannon to.
