And even though he told Horace that 3 years were enough to move on, when he saw Kate, his eyes told everything. And then he even called her Freckles. I felt really sorry for Juliet because she loved Sawyer so much but she saw how he looked at Kate, she knew that she was the other woman in the picutre. I just hate how they degraded her character, Juliet was such a hbic in season 3. In fact almost all female characters got written very badly at one point or another just to prop up a guy.

That art is so beautiful. Spectacular kiss. Kate was so heartbroken when he jumped and she kept Aaron to fill the void. And of course she kept her promise about his daughter.

Just like what Kate did with Aaron and her life in LA. Sure, she would've been content to keep on living that lie and be the wife of a doctor and hold on to everything that seemed like a perfect existence, but none of that was meant to be. Atleast not in the way that it happened. It wasn't reality. But it was how both Kate and Sawyer had chosen to make the best of their circumstances. I always understood it, but it just wasn't entertaining to watch from them.

I know people went head over hills for Sawyer and Juliet and yes they loved each other, but 3 years isn't enough to get over someone you've built a whole relationship with, got close to, put your trust in and let your guard down for. And I actually liked Juliet and Sawyer's friendship you have my back sort of thing, when everyone else left they could help each other but as a couple, it was always sawyer and kate.

Josh and Evi played the awkwardness and uncertainty of their reunion really perfectly. I think a lot of Skaters wanted to see Kate and Sawyer fall back into each other's arms and act like no time had passed at all between them. That wasn't gonna happen. It wouldn't have been realistic.

ITA They just didn't want to be alone and miserable for the rest of their lives, so they burried their feelings, their burried the pain. Off the island Sawyer still managed to come between Jack and Kate. I really couldn't stand how Kate was on her knees beggind Jack...like what the hell was that? Kate was introduced as this really strong female character, that was not what a strong woman would do...and Sawyer just made a 180 turn but for me that was always just part of the act, they had to adapt, it was the longest con he has ever done.

I liked their friendship but their relationship was just bad. And it's mostly because of the lack of a build up. Suddenly they are together and Sawyer sniffs on a flower...like WHAT?
