Just saw that LOST didn't get any nominations at the Golden Globes. Sadly, I can totally understand this. It's pretty much a copy of what was nominated at the Emmys, but the new shows "The Walking Dead" and "Boardwalk Empire" took LOST's place.

We do still have the SAG awards, but I'm not sure now if LOST will get any more awards.

You can view all of the Golden Globes TV and Film noms here:

FCKYAHALLYWOOD!
Hope Walking Dead wins all since people compare it to LOST anyways.
Man this series deserved so much better.

GG & EMMY's should just have a "Hyper Award Show" then all the nominees would actually make sense.

GG and Emmy's can go to the cave and be Smokeys for all I care...

LOST doesn't need them

I do hope Damon will snatch the awards and he said...

MTV:
Biggest snub goes to "Lost," which was shut out of the running completely. The groundbreaking show kept fans' interest until the very end (especially with strong turns by castmembers Michael Emerson, Terry O'Quinn and Matthew Fox), but apparently not the HFPA.

People:
• Lost
The end of arguably one of the biggest pop culture events of the past few years, and it goes out with a whimper – where the Hollywood Foreign Press Association is concerned.

Examiner
The title of the article should be enough
"The Golden Globes have lost their minds"

Chicagonow:
Best TV Series -- Drama
Yikes. I am definitely on board with Mad Men in this category. However, while the pilots of both Boardwalk Empire and The Walking Dead were stellar, their complete seasons were a bit hit and miss.

Notable Snubs: Breaking Bad, Fringe, LOST, and (oddly) Grey's Anatomy

EW:
On the other hand, the final season of Lost was left stranded by the Globes.
Closer to my heart, where were the nominations for Fringe?
All in all, the TV nominations were mostly predictable, occasionally surprising, and ultimately disappointing.

TVsquad: When the 2011 Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning, there were plenty of names conspicuously absent from the list. No love for the final season of 'Lost'? Yet another year of ignoring the fantastic 'Friday Night Lights'? Of course, there were plenty of surprises too. 'The Walking Dead'? Heck yes. Jennifer Love Hewitt ... um, what?

'Lost,' Matthew Fox and Michael Emerson
There might've been some debate over the final episode of 'Lost,' but there's no doubt that the show should have gone out with much more award show recognition than it's gotten over the past few months. Both Matthew Fox and last year's nominee Michael Emerson gave exceptional performances as the sprawling story drew to a close.

Maureen Ryan: Nothing for 'Friday Night Lights'? Nothing for 'Rubicon'? Matthew Fox and the entire cast of 'Lost' ignored? No love for 'Justified' or 'Terriers'? A shut-out for 'Men of a Certain Age'? Sadly, I expect wonderful genre fare such as 'Fringe,' 'Supernatural' 'Doctor Who' to be (unjustly) shunned by the major awards-giving bodies, but the total lack of love for those other dramas is a real drag.

Babble: Celebrity dad Matthew Fox must be sitting at home scratching his head and wondering what he’s got to do to get one of those Golden Globe nominations 2011 – the man died in the final season of “Lost,” for crying out loud, and his show didn’t even get a thanks-for-the-memories best drama nomination, let alone a nod for his stellar acting. That leads the list of Golden Globe nominations biggest snubs – not even one lonely nod for groundbreaking series “Lost.”

Seattlepi: Lookit. The Walking Dead is a really good show, and I really loved it, but HAVE WE ALL FORGOTTEN that there were ONLY 6 EPISODES? There were more hours of The Thorn Birds than there were hours of the first season of The Walking Dead. And so you can not tell me that 6 hours of The Walking Dead were better produced or more emotionally satisfying or even as historically important as the last 18 hours of Lost that aired this year. I mean, you can tell me that, but I'm not going to listen, because you'd be wrong.

Times Colonist:
Nominations for the 68th Annual Golden Globes were announced Tuesday, and the Hollywood Foreign Press maintained their reputation for some of the strangest, most surprising decisions of the awards show season.

Never was this more clear than in this year's television nominations, which gave nods to obscure actors while ignoring some of the best shows of the year. Take a look at the biggest upsets and oversights from the 2011 Golden Globe nominations.

Snub: Lost
Whether you loved or hated the Lost finale, you can't deny that the show produced quality (if infuriating) TV for six years.

Tv overmind:
The first thing that jumps out at me is the complete lack of Lost in the nominations. Nothing for Best Drama, Matthew Fox, Terry O'Quinn or Michael Emerson. To be honest, I'm pretty shocked by that. Then again, the HFPA is notorious for having some of the strangest nominations for any set of awards. For example, they love to nominate a young, American TV actress with a nice bosom who by all accounts isn't a serious acting contender (see: Paquin, Anna). This year, they outdid themselves, because they nominated two!! Piper Perabo and Jennifer Love Hewitt? Really?!?! I'm sure they're great people and their performances are fine, but you'll certainly never hear their names mentioned in Emmy nomination conversations.

Screencrave: Every year, we wake up ridiculously early (here on the West coast) to check out the nominees for the annual Golden Globes, and like clockwork we’re always disappointed. Don’t get us wrong, there were a few surprises for many actors and shows this year but not enough to compensate for the Hollywood Foreign Press’ utter disregard for some diamonds in the rough. Did you notice the lack of love for “Community,” “Lost,” or “Breaking Bad?” They weren’t acknowledged for their work in 2010 but “Covert Affairs” and “Hung” were. Just think about that for a minute.

I'm glad people took notice, though I really think that if they skipped over LOST, then the GG aren't worth it.

Yeah, it's E and you can vote a hundred times, but still. It'd be nice if LOST could win.

No Lost? To that end, we have unearthed a shocking conspiracy...
And Lost did not receive a single nomination for the ensemble or individual acting for it's final season. That, Abed, is the true meaning of lack of payoff. (Little Community humor for ya, there.)

Yeah it's sad they don't like sci-fi. I went thought years of disapointment with "Buffy" never getting anything. So I just accepted it. Honestly we should be glad that LOST actually got nominated and won before.

Truth. Just very sad . Specially for Darlton. I know they really are honored by awards.
And I was looking forward to seeing the cast again.

The heart of LOST’s island discovered outside of Buffalo, NY

LOST’s mysterious cave, the heart of the island, was discovered just outside of Buffalo, New York. Get a better look at this totally natural phenomenon - just don’t expect a better series ending to be hiding in there, somewhere.

The name of this waterfall is Eternal Flame Waterfall on Shale Creek in Chestnut Ridge Park outside of Buffalo New York. According to the NY state waterfall guide, this crazy fire and ice creation is formed when a “pocket of natural methane gas in an alcove below the waterfall seeps out through a fracture in the rocks.” Granted, the light doesn’t shine everyday - only when it’s gobbling up the body and soul of the Man In Black, or creating the occasional plot hole.
