This is driving me nuts cause I can feel the answer in the back of my head, but what was the name of the communication station? Was it the Pearl Station? I will not rest until I know.

Nevermind, just saw that it's The Flame

If anyone watches Chuck, he mentions Oceanic Flight 815. Another reason to love the show.

Jorge responded to some fan questions in his forum at The Fuse. I found this interesting:

Re: New episodes

Schedules been pretty crazy. We have four episodes in progress right now. And I think a fifth starts this week. In fact last was had to shoot something for episode one still. So work has been interesting. Sometimes you work on one episode in the morning and then go to another set and shoot a different one in the evening.
They're working on four eps at once? Dang, that would be confusing. Rumor has it that they are working 6 days a week this season. They must really be wanting to finish up by March as planned.

They wouldn't be cramming so many episodes all at once if ABC would stop frakking with the damn schedule!

Elodie, the third season is set to be released in USA and Canada on Dec. 11th. As for a release party, I hadn't heard of anything but I'd be surprised if they didn't have one.

I was at Comic Con listing to the lost Panel this pat july when they gave us the news live and in person Michael and who should come on stage but "michael" Harold himself !!!

My friend who lives in Hawaii told me Friday there was major traffic jams in Honolulu due to Lost filming in a downtown area !!!! To us it means either flash back/flash forward .

God it is hard enough to wait every January for 24 now I have to wait for Febuary for all of Lost. 24 and Lost both going to run into early June.

DarkUFO: Lost may still return to Wednesdays

Lost may still return to Wednesdays

I received an email from my contact over at ABC over the weekend in which he says that due to the ratings of various shows (both on ABC and other networks), that Lost may still return on Wednesdays and not Mondays as he previously reported. With the large hiatus ABC have some time to view and calculate the best time to air Season 4 and although initially Monday 4th Feb was the penciled in date, there have been some rumblings that it may still return on Wednesdays. My source says that ABC will make an official decision on both the date and time within the next 2-3 weeks once the Nielsen DVR rating figures for other shows have also been factored into the equation.

So this could be good news for those that didn't like the potential Monday slot. As soon as I have any more info, I'll pass it along.

I hope it returns to Wedsday, as long as it doesn't air at 10:00 again.

I'm torn there, it's hard to wait 'till 3am just to hear what happened and to see the clips, but then again, if it stays at 10pm we can get jucier scenes.

Well, nothing matters, as long as it returns. This hiatus is a killer.

Kevin Smith raves about ''Lost'' | Entertainment Weekly

Quote:
Kevin Smith Raves About 'Lost'
''Clerks'' filmmaker and ''Reaper'' executive producer tells the Doc why ''Lost'' rules. Plus: NBC tips its hat to the ABC hit, another Locke mystery, and a new Doc J theory to chew on

By Jeff Jensen

It's October, and we're still around four months away from Lost's season premiere. By that time — Spoiler Alert! — the Boston Red Sox will have beaten the Colorado Rockies to win the World Series, the University of California will have edged out the LSU Tigers for the college football national championship, and my hometown Seattle Seahawks will have capped a Cinderella season by beating the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. Yes, my awesome Desmond-esque precognitive powers extend to the world of sports, too. Feel free to bet massive amounts of money on my flashes of the future — they're (black) rock solid, I swear!

And yet, while Lost seems ages away, the show has not been forgotten in the culture. In fact, the ABC series seems to have a lot of fans over at...NBC. Did you see the season premiere of 30 Rock? Apparently, Jerry Seinfeld is a Lost fan. And did you catch the Lost shout out in Chuck? Seems the crash of Oceanic 815 is one of the secrets tucked away in the super-nerd's head. (I know readers John Allman and Amy Moravetz spotted the homage — thanks for the email, dudes!) My friend Doc Artz over at thetailsection.com spotted Kevin Tighe — the actor who played Locke's devilish dad Anthony Cooper — on Law & Order, playing a character named...Cooper. And if we really want to force the homage issue, might the boozy black beard sported by Heroes' high-flyer Nathan Petrelli be a nod to the mangy flash forward bush worn by death-wishing frequent-flyer Jack?

Someone else with Lost on the brain: filmmaker Kevin Smith. Several weeks ago, I had the chance to interview the Clerks director about his creative role in the delightful new comedy-drama Reaper on The CW. But we began our chat by talking Lost — yep, Silent Bob's a fan. Listen:

KEVIN SMITH: Let's give props to Lost. How brilliant was this season finale? I mean, it's cruel because they're not coming back until like January, but hats off for taking a foolproof formula and spinning it to make it even better. You're like, ''Oh my God, so now they're all flash-forwards?! How genius is that?'' ... We [had] all settled into ''Okay, this is what they do, they flashback and we learn a lot about the characters.'' But that whole episode, you're sitting there going, like, ''Wait a second — is that Jack's father's body [in the coffin]? But wasn't the body on the plane? Who was this person in the casket that he's going to see?'' And then the moment where Kate f---ing walks up from the car and you're like, ''Wait — they knew each other before?'' And then all of a sudden, it becomes f---ing clear, you're like, ''Oh my God, that s---'s insanely brilliant!'' You can only do that in TV, though. You can't do that in a feature. You know what I'm saying? Like, you get a moment like that in a feature like The Sixth Sense, where you're like, ''Holy s---, he's been dead the whole time!?'' But to do two seasons and then suddenly throw a massive curveball is just so dramatically satisfying, you just take your hats off to the writers in a big, bad way.

DOC J: The thing I really loved about the twist and that reveal is that I felt like it really reinvested your interest in the people, as opposed to mythological mystery questions like ''What the hell's the smoke monster?''

SMITH: Absolutely. Suddenly it's like, ''Who gives a f--- about the polar bear, who gives a f--- about the smoke monster, any of that — all the f---ing sci-fi weirdness just took a backseat to, like, ''Holy s---! Why did Jack and Kate stop being friends?''

DOC J: Right.

KS: I can't wait. I'm so f---ing geared up for February. I just can't f---ing wait.

More of Naomi Mystery and who was on the other end of her satellite phone , New Cast member announced . From Zap2it.com

Fisher Stevens Takes Call from 'Lost'
Actor-producer takes recurring role on ABC series
October 12, 2007

Fisher Stevens

Funny a lot of people remember him as the Indian(India) in Short Circuit 1-2

The guy on the satellite phone in last season's "Lost" finale will be more than just a voice come next year.

Actor and producer Fisher Stevens has taken a recurring role on the ABC series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stevens will play a character named Minkowski. He is somehow connected to Marsha Thomason's Naomi, who brought the satellite phone onto the island and who says she's part of a ship's crew there to rescue the crash survivors.

Viewers know that Naomi is lying about her claim that Penny Widmore (Sonya Walger) is backing the rescue effort, but the show hasn't tipped its hand as to who actually is behind it. A number of "Lost" fan sites have also seized on the name of Stevens' character, noting that he shares it with Hermann Minkowski, a German physicist who theorized that time exists as a fourth dimension in the early 20th century.

The role will be Stevens' first TV appearance in several years

Yes!

I hope it's on Mondays...early. If it goes to Wednesday...the only slot thinkable would be 10pm, and I hated it being on so late.
