Evangeline: Matthew's like a father - he takes care of us kids! I'm always bugging him about his age and telling him he's an old man, but you can see he's a father, because he's got an instinct to take care of people. I think people who've never had a child are more likely to see the world through just their owns eyes. Whereas someone who's a father or mother is more likley to be aware of other peoples feelings.

I am kind of headstrong and have pride issues. He was really gentle about his way of leading me, it was always very subtle and well-intentioned. I learned from him that you should bare yourself in front of the camera and in front of your fellow actors. I learned about the absolute trust you must have with your fellow actors.
