i love the way jack and kate are introduced.

The Pilot is the best I've ever seen on television. J.J. is a mad scientist, just like Foxy says in the dvd extras.

The man is brilliant. It really plays more like a movie than television. I'll never forget watching the series premiere.

Pilot!

I remember when I first watched it when it aired back in 2004. I was blown away. Hooked from the start.

I'll rewatch it this week. Everytime I do I'm reminded just how much I miss Charlie. "I heard you shout. I heard you shout, 'Jack.' I'm Charlie, by the way."

I watched the pilot for the first time Dec 08. I've been hooked ever since.

awww I miss Charlie too, he really did have the best lines

I also love in the cockpit when Jack and Kate ask each other if they are okay..and then Charlie's like "I'm fine, Charlie's fine by the way"

So I rewatched today

Here's some of the stuff I loved
Part 1
*for every episode, I love anything and everything with Charlie and Claire, my OTP

*
-the whole opening sequence was absolutely amazing

-I really love that Claire was the first of the main losties that Jack tried to save, it's great seeing them together knowing now that they are brother and sister

-I love watching the show knowing what I know now, listening to Jack tell his surgery story of counting to 5 to Kate, all I could think of was daddy Shephard giving Jack a time out and making him count to 5

-aww Boone and Shannon, I miss them..I love the scene with the chocolate bar where he just eats it in front of her

-"Terrific"

I love Charlie

-annd more Charlie love, are you surpised

"guys, is this normal? This kind of day-turning-into-night end of the world type weather..guys?"

-awww Grunny as the pilot, he's awesome!

so sad when the monster eats him

Part 2
-I love watching Charlie's whole on the plane sequence
-After watching this I remembered how much I hated Jin at first, with the slapping of Sun's hand, I'm so glad they made him awesome later on

Ok, I love the look on Sayid's face when Shannon and Boone are fighting in front of him and Kate about Shannon coming on the hike with them. Seriously if you don't know what I'm talking about, go back and put your dvd in to around 19min 25sec and you'll see what I'm talking about

-I really loved the Claire and Jin scene, when Claire feels the baby kick

-

gotta love when Hurley passes out
-"Idk probably bear village"..."I just shot a bear!" LOL Sawyer's awesome
-"French! The French are coming! I've never been so happy to hear the French!"

omg seriously my fave character, get use to lots of Charlie references with me

-and finally I always love his "Guys, where are we?"

The Pilot is my favorite LOST episode without a doubt.
I pretty much love everything about it, and it is really like watching a movie.
Its just brilliant.

The LOST pilot is undoubtedly one of the best pilots, if not THE best, ever made for a TV show. I had heard a lot about this show, but was very skeptical as to whether I could watch a show like this beyond it's pilot. However, the pilot was just too brilliantly made and I don't think many could resist watching more of the show after that,
