Yeah, when I heard Desmond working out to "Make Your Own Kind of Music" I couldn't help but laugh.

Thanks for the list though. I've always wondered about all the music they've played in the show so far.

No problem. I thought it'll be interesting to know what were the songs used.

I like the Outside by Staind. Though, I never noticed that when I watched the episode. I have to watch it again.

So does anyone know the instrumental song that is played throughout the couse of the show? I remember it especially when they are doing the flashback of everyone boarding the plane at the end of Exodus, part 2.

I love the music, but have no idea where to find it.

Okay-

I've been trying to figure out the first track played in S.O.S. for hours and come up with nothing. The SECOND track played in the episode is hte Otis Redding Song "These Arms of Mine". I'm looking for the first one. It's also played on the main menu of the fourth disc of the season 2 DVD set. The subtitles describe it as a rock and roll ballad, but it's more of a beach tune. Does anybody out there know what it is?

Thanks,
Ryan

I love the instrumental songs from Lost, especially the ones from Jin & Sun scenes. Sadly, I never found any

This thread hasn't been active in a while. Now that the show really only uses Mr. Giacchino's compositions I guess the OP doesn't need to be updated, unless we want to have all of his pieces added in there as well. I've got the first season soundtrack, which is absolutely gorgeous. I need to get the rest of the season soundtracks as well.

Here's a great video: YouTube - LOST: In Preparation For Season 5: The Musical Score

I absolutely love that piece of music they used in the last episode from S4, at the end of part 1

That video was awesome. Thanks so much for sharing.

Locke's theme is one of my all-time favorites. I just listened to it today actually. It's absolutely beautiful.

I loved Jack's second theme. He actually is associated in S1/S2 with "Win One for the Reaper" as well I think. It's probably my most favorite.

The S4 piece at the end was so pretty. I can't wait to get the other soundtracks. Thank you Michael for insisting on live orchestra.

That Locke theme is so so powerfull... you really learn to appreciate the music on the show when you listen to each one of them separately.

I also love Jack's piano song in TMFT

You really do. And it's cool to hear them all in their entireity. On the show of course they have to cut them down. I've heard people say that the songs don't mean as much without the dialogue, characters, etc...which I guess is true to an extent, but I think they stand on their own as beautiful pieces. I love to just listen to them.

Jack's Piano Song is another great one.
