HIS STORY
Josh was a professional and successful model for several years until his love for acting lead him to Los Angeles where he landed a role in the comedy Doctor Benny. He followed up with lead roles in the movies Mi amigo, Moving August and Cold Heart. Following these roles, he gained recognition for his lead role in the Sci-Fi Channel movie Sabretooth. He also made appearances in Good Girls Don't, NCIS, The Lyon's Den, Walker, Texas Ranger, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Angel. Josh also appeared in the Aerosmith video for the song "Cryin'" and Billie Myers' 1998 music video "Tell Me".

But Josh's big break came in the role of James "Sawyer" Ford in the critically acclaimed series Lost that catapulted him to celebrity status. It was in this audition where Josh flubbed a line, and in his frustation, kicked a chair across the room. J.J. Abrams liked that intensity and hired him on the spot. During hiatuses from the show, Josh has taken up several projects. He starred in the independent thriller Whisper and comedy Stay Cool which recently debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. Josh also ventured into the world of video games in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. In addition, he became the face of Davidoff's "Cool Water" for Men fragrance worldwide and was selected as the first male spokesperson for Magnum Ice Cream of Turkey.
