I can't wait to see this episode. From the spoilers I've read it sounds like it will be really good. (How can a Desmond episode be bad? Especially one with

xgirl30, I'm spoiler free, but had a peek at what you posted anyway, and to that I just have to say: Bring. It. On!
I hope we get more Penny if we're getting Desmond flashbacks. *crosses all her fingers and toes* |

I'm spoiler free as well. Actually, I've been spoiler free for a while, and it feels so great to watch the episodes with an undiluted or predetermined opinion once again. I've missed that. I really like Desmond's character, and I love the way Henry has nuanced the character with that easy, unassuming approach he takes. He kind of reminds me of Hurley in a way, expept far more self-assured and of course, dead sexy.

Just when you think it was a wasted hour/flashback...Desmond tells Charlie he's going to die and he can't do anything to stop it. Bravo, Lost...way to pull me in closer. Though I'm not a fan of Charlie being the next to go...that final scene shocked the hell out of me.
I would like to add I loved all the throwbacks to the island. The beeping microwave, the picture, the Mama Cass song...everything was done well. And also, I didn't expect this episode to be solely seen through only Desmond's POV. It was rather different what us Lost fans are accustomed to, but it worked. I can't wait to re-watch it and notice the little things they threw in. __________________

I think this is the craziest episode of Lost yet. I, too was wondering why the whole episode was a flashback and then Desmond goes and says Charlie's going to die. I really hope he doesn't go.
I have to say that Henry Ian did a great job with this episode. It was beautifully acted. He had a big job carrying the whole episode and he did it incredibly well. __________________

Desmond's ep totally ROCKED! I'm utterly confused and a little bit spooked but I like it. It was thrilling to not know what the hell was going on. And Charlie dying? Well, let's just say I won't miss him too much. I rather him than anyone else.
Henry Ian Cusick is brilliant. BRILLIANT. __________________

All I can say is Say it aint so Desmond. Not Charlie. Charlie, Hurley, and Claire are main reason I love this show. Id hate to lose any of them.
I really did enjoy penny and desmonds lovestory. __________________
