Wasn't a warning guys. Just a suggestion for the future.
You can say whatever you want about this episode of course.

The sideways were a way for them to find their way back to one another.
Everything that happened on the island was real.

FF is being kind of useless!

IMO they did not die in the crash in the pilot. The island time was real. They all died at different times in their lives...some before Jack - Boone, Shannon - and some after Jack - Hurley, Kate, Ben..

Yep that's what I got. Some died on the island. Some eventually died other times and they all agreed to meet up at that place in limbo and then they are moving on together.

Hence why Penny is there. Ben wasn't ready to move on as yet, as he still hasn't found peace.

I have no idea, Paula! I guess just something to pass the time.

all the people were real in sideways and it was said that it was a place where you get the one thing you always wanted out of life, so jack wanted to be a good dad, so david served that purpose for him, but he was also a distraction for him remembering. and for daviv, maybe he never had a dad in his life and jack served that purpose in the for him sideways... but davids story wasnt important to this one so we'll never know the details for what david needed out of the sideways. but the most important thing is that all the people were real.

It's like I explained to my dad.... where do we go when we die - heaven (if you believe it). And who is waiting there on the other end? The people who meant the most to us.

My dad's response... "I still don't get it." LOL. Oh dad.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who got that. I was glad we got to see Shannon again. Thought it was a beautiful moment between them as I like their relationship from S1/S2.

Not to make waves but shouldn't there a thread for people to vent complaints/issues with the finale or anything about the show they did not like just avoid potential arguements.

First time to post here. From what I understood, the ALT was a sort of purgatory, not the island. They didn't just all die in the initial crash. I loved the ending. The eye closing was kind of how i always saw it ending. And i love how the scene mirrored the opening scene from the pilot with Jack's eye.

The show came full circle. I liked that. I thought it was a good finale. It hit all those emotional character cores for me.

IDK I'm still confused about the finale and honestly I lost interest in the episode half way through. And Jack is the only one who get a proper ending. Every character looks like a prop in Jack's story. And Boone wtf? What was that?

I'm glad this show is over, now I can fully concentrate on my other shows again.

At first I was confused but afterwards I got it. Everything that happened on the island happened. Christian told Jack everyone died at different times. Some before Jack and some after. The sideways world was a reality they created so they could find each other. It definately makes sense.
