I am so sad, excited and nervous for this episode! I don't even know what to expect, it's going to be so amazing but I just can't believe that after tonight there will be no new Lost ever! Also I will never see Matthew Fox or Jate on my tv screen again

The end is finally here. It is sort of unreal.
Why can't all network television be as absorbing as Lost? |

I signed up for this forum just so I could put my theory out there for the final episode. Keep in mind that I have not watched the episode from Tuesday (I will watch it on demand in an hour or so.)
Possible spoiler alert (If I figured things out right) The show will end with not just the protector of the island being replaced, but with the smoke monster being replaced as well. It will be Jack and Sawyer. But Jack will be the smoke monster, and Sawyer will be the protector. Just because the last protector of the island (Jacob) was inherently good and incapable of lying, that does not mean that all of the past protectors have been. Jacob even remarks to Claudia that the only reason that she picked him is that his brother left. Why wouldn't you want a protector that is capable of thinking as deviously as those who wish to despoil the island. So they take over the spots left vacant by the smoke monster and Jacob, and then the screen goes suddenly to black, and, "Don't Stop Believing," starts playing as the end credits roll. |

Theory number 2
A 110-pound Hurley is found babbling deliriously to himself in the South Pacific. He has been living by himself for the last 3 years on a deserted island, and was the sole survivor of the crash. Of all of the people from the show, he is the one most capable of undergoing a complete physical transformation. But then it turns out that it was all happening in the mind of this boy. |

I am excited but pretty damn depressed about tonight. I haven't part of the online fandom much but after this I won't be discussing Lost on here or with anyone ever again
Right now I am going to expect everything and anything. I don't know if they'll answer everything but I just hope it has a somewhat satisfying ending __________________

I feel like there's so much yet to happen... how are they going to fit it all in a 2 and 1/2 hour episode?

The last episode thread
I can't believe it __________________
