I think Aaron, Claire, Jack, and Christian are all a huge part of the island. I'm ready to see that story developed more.

I want to know why the Shephards are connected to the island, but it'll prob never be explained.

See, the reason I think the island would have allowed Aaron to leave the island if he is in fact Jacob is because the island was trying to protect him. The island knew it was under attack by the people being sent there by Widmore to retrieve Ben. Ben kept spewing how the island was under the biggest threat ever. We also know that something bad happened during the three years that has lapsed in between the oceanic six being rescued. Is it possible the island knew this would come to pass; thus, arranging the circumstances for Aaron/Jacob to get off the island until it was safe to return? Even when Locke asked Claire where Aaron was in the cabin, Christian intervened and said where he needed to be, which wasn't there. Also, it seems a bit more than coicidental that the freighter blew up just after Aaron and the others made it safely off it and onto the helicopter? Then, Christian appears to Michael and tells him he can go now.

Remember Miles? Supposedly, he appears to be psychic and it almost appeared to me liike he had a sixth sense about Claire and her son. When he was hovering around her/Aaron and Sawyer gave him that warning? I wonder if he picked up on something about Aaron.

Of course, these are all just speculations and Aaron may not be Jacob at all but I think there's signs/things there that point at the possibility.

Miles freaks me out. he could have just generally be interested in Claire and Aaron, who knows he might like Claire

. He only talks to dead people, I don't remember if he sees them though. So unless Aaron was dead I would say, it probably was more something about Claire.

I'm not sure. It could want to protect Jacob but how do we know Jacob is dead, it's just something everyone believes. Then if Aaron is Jacob and Claire told Kate do not return him to the island, it makes things even more confusing to me because I don't understand why. I still don't trust Christian fully, he seems to have different agenda when it comes to Claire than with Jack. The freighter blowing up, well, they had to survive so they being on it when it blew up defeated the purpose. They were trying to make things realistic, there was no way that helicopter would have enough fuel to carry them wherever, they had to refuel on the freighter. Michael's use was up a long time ago anyways. I don't think the writers knew what to do with Michael so they did that.
