We don't know the circumstances true, but even if Juliet did die, I'd say he's pretty quick to get over it. Maybe he doesn't know about her death then? Regardless, Jack's character has been developed as a person who feels moral obligation and responsibility towards those around him, especially those he cares about. We've seen him take the initiative to fix, to help, to comfort, something/someone so many times.. and when he fails.. he takes it pretty hard on himself. The future Jack just isn't reflecting that attitude towards me right now. But then again, there's also that theory that he's just playing along in attempt to conceal the identity of and protect the remaining people on the island.
His flashfowards are so damn hard to read. When Hurley mentioned something about how they shouldn't have left the island, Jack seemed very adamant at the time that yes they should have and he didn't seem like he wanted anything more to do with the island. Just bad island memories or something else? Because of that attitude Juliet must have pulled some whammy of a betrayal, (again he knows how much she wants to leave so why jeopordize that) or she dies some how. As far as him moving on, it's just Kate who he already has feelings for. Besides everyone seems to move on really quickly on this show.

About tonights episode. Juliet was rather, um, snotty tonight. For the first time ever I almost didn't like her attitude. It wasn't so much her telling Jin about the affair. She was obviously desperate to save Sun and have Sun understand the situation, so that was okay. I think it was the whole scene in the tent. Obviously she new something was up, but it just seemed off to me. Maybe it's just been a while since I've seen her in full other mode.

However I did really like the scene with her and Sun on the beach when she apologized and told Sun the scary details. I guess it all worked out for the best. Plus Sun seemed suprised that Juliet wanted to leave. Maybe Juliet should share that info with everyone, that seems to be the key to get people to believe her.

Oh and when she said "I need to go home" it made me sad. Just because I know it's not going to be happening when the others leave.

To be honest, I kinda missed 'Other' Juliet. She even had the walk down when she confronted Sun.

And it totally hurt my Juliet loving heart when Sun said she didn't trust her. Man, what else does she have to do for you people?! Jeez.

Yeah Juliet's action was pretty unlikeable but I guess it all worked out for the better. At least Sun no longer has any secrets from Jin, and it was probably a milestone in their relationship to overcome a hurdle such as an affair. I believe the writers were going to reveal Sun's affair to Jin somehow.. and I guess their medium was Juliet.

You know, now that I think about it, I've missed 'other' Juliet as well. She just came at me unexpectedly. That's what she does, flips on the other switch when you least expect it, and then you don't know how to react. That's how she wins. She's very good at that....

Obviously Juliet needs to wear a sign that lists all the helpful things she's done since she got there. You know, like telling them about Ben's plan to kidnap the women, helping to come up with dynamite plan, spilling the beans about how to communicate off the island, going with Sawyer to rescue Sayid, Bernard, and Jin, helping to rescue Jack and Kate, etc. She could even title the sign: "How I've saved your ass, one way or the other. Feel free to pick your favorite." Now I'm just rambling....

Well I'm gald Juliet was able to help Sun and Jin move on from the affair in a weird way. Just in time for Jin to die.

Seriously. I know she's done some questionable things, but come the frak on. If she wanted to kill you all, you'd be dead already.

Even though it was wrong, I didn't find Juliet unlikeable when she told Jin about Sun's affair. It was the last card she had to play to keep Sun's knocked up, stubborn ass on the beach. And Kate freaking the pregnant lady out didn't help matters either.

Sun's distrust was slightly bothersome, considering last week she was helping her build a hut and making with the small talk, but I can at least understand where Sun is coming from. It's certain other people that the distrust is coming from that is ridiculous. *coughKatecough*

Speaking of Kate freaking out the pregnant lady, why is it whenever she talks to Sun she always makes the situation 10 times worse? I recall her doing that to Sun earlier, I think it was D.O.C.

Kate thinks she's helping when she's really not. And instead of talking Sun out of it like Juliet tried to do, she draws them a freaking map.

Kate definitely has questionable behavior. As much as I love the girl, I`m like...come on.

Juliet is LOVE.

Lol Kate is Kate. She was originally one of my favourites but S3 has changed my liking to apathy .. sometimes a bit of annoyance. I did notice however from last night's episode that she does tend to flare up Sun in certain situations... whether it be intentional or not. Sun's attitude towards Juliet just did a 180. I actually thought she trusted her based on D.O.C and their interactions afterwards. If I were in Juliet's position, I'd be hurt.

Juliet was terrific in this episode. I understand her need to tell the truth about the affair but it was still painful to watch for me.

Hey Kate put a lot of effort into that map. She got the 3 hills and the 10 trees drawn to show exactly how to get to Locke. It was very detailed, it's not like they're in the jungle and everything looks the same...

She's terrific in every episode. When Juliet went after them I knew what was coming. But honestly Sun wasn't listening to reason so what choice did Juliet have?

Sun: Oh, look! Here's that tree Kate drew.
Jin: Sun, same tree there too."

Exactly. It was the only arsenal Juliet had left and she used it. That's my bitch.

Ben and Juliet are master manipulators. I can totally see Juliet sacrificing herself for either Sun or Jack but at the same time, making it look like a betrayal to take away any reason for Jack to return to the island. Maybe she'll even do it in form of a bad break-up. You know, maybe like a "I never gave a crap about you and only wanted to see how you do in bed" kind of thing.

Anyways, I loved Juliet's attitude in the latest episode. What I love about her is her "take charge" attitude. She doesn't run to Jack to get his approval on anything. She takes matters into her own hands and by doing so, she saved a pregnant woman and her baby. The whole episode has strengthened my belief that she's going to sacrifice her freedom for Sun or Jack. Her character arc has it written all over it IMO. Also, what's the point in having her really betray Jack after she already betrayed Ben? That's redundant and boring (and it doesn't fit with her iconic namesake).

Well, Kate isn't a fertility doctor who has been studying the effects of fertility on the island. She does not know what Juliet does, or if what Juliet is saying is true, and she doesn't know as much as we viewers know. It's a bit unfair to criticize Kate for this.
From, her point of view the freighties are sketchy and she would understand why Sun would want to hide from them.
