Because they don't value the women on this show all that much. The male characters have the better storylines. Dead or alive.

Laura, i totally agree with you. Even though Juliet was the mom, her and Jack are now divorced and she can still end up with James. Well we just need to wait and we'll see. Talking about the eyes, they do relate to his grandpa imo but you know, with Lost you can never be so sure.
