I don't think there's any chance for it to be anyone but 1 of those 2 although Ben would make for a hilarious and interesting twist.

I would say the episodes leading up to the finale (in particular whether they keep David in the game, reveal someone else as the mother of the child, set us up to meet her, the amount of substantial Jack/Kate or Sawyer/Kate interaction in the AU) should give us an idea of which direction this thing is going to be heading in.

It's not simply that David has blue eyes. It's that they have made a deliberate choice to cast an actor who has Elizabeth's eyes. It could be a coincidence, but I find it a little bit hard to believe. But knowing this show and it's lack of answers it's also possible they'll never tell us who it is. We'll see.

Honestly, i wouldn't be bother if Juliet was the mom. We'll see, maybe the blue eyes are just a coincidence though.

Same here. I didn't think it could be anyone but Sawyer. Since the writers have forgotten Juliet had a sister. But today I saw this in someone's icon...Thoughts?

I remember watching and thinking what was the point of this scene?

I personally can't make Juliet being David's mom work in my head. It just isn't flying for me.

I will not be sucked back into the disappointment that was Jacket.

I was too upset when they were up and dropped so my devotion remains with S/J and them getting coffee together. haha.

However, I would still enjoy a Jack/Juliet kid.

Crystaline, I agree! I really wish we would get a Rachel/Juliet/Julian scene but Lost rarely gives me what I want where female characters are concerned.
