Last time I wrote in here, this thread was five pages long... now I come back.. and 17? HOLY COW!

As the smoke monster looks into JuliaForADay's eyes, it senses deceit and cowardice deep inside her soul. It flashes brilliantly for a few instants, and JuliaForADay can swear that she sees images familiar and painful to her. The FanForum logo... a skinny black tie.... Tears fill JuliaForADay's eyes as she accepts her wrongs and is taken back to the day that it all began....

It was July, 2008. JuliaForADay was bored out of her mind and surfing the web in an attempt to entertain herself. The Lost hiatus has been getting to her, and the lack of her favourite Lost character has been driving her insane. Trying to make herself feel at least a little better, she typed his name into Google and hit search. The search results popped up, and something caught her eye. FanForum. Intrigued, she clicked on the link, and was taken to a thread, all about her favourite character. She was in heaven. She read all of the posts in the thread, completely taken by the posters and the quality of what they had to say. She enjoyed the experience so much that she even went back and found all of the previous threads, and read them as well. That's when she knew: she had to join FanForum. The only question was: What username should she have used? She got an idea. She would use her name in front of the last name of her favourite caharcter. It was perfect. But then, fear overtook her soul, and her confidence all but vanished. She could not join this community with a name like that - she would be ridiculed. And so she changed it, turned it into a code, and from then on took on a life of self-denial, lies, and deceit.

JuliaForADay looks at the smoke monster, tears flowing down her cheeks as her memories tear her soul apart.
"I'm sorry," she whispers, as if the smoke monster could understand her. "I never should've lied. I should've always kept my username as..."
She falters, and the monster growls ominously, elecricity crackling throughout it. JuliaForADay stares deep into the abyss of her own black, lifeless heart, and finally manages to mutter
"JuliaFaraday."
