Uh...plane was found. Survivors all dead. WTF???
Loved the ep! Yunjin and Elizabeth are golden! More Sun/Juliet would be awesome. :D Don't know how the heck Patchy is alive, but I'm glad to see him. He's cool. And where the frak is Sayid?! This is the second ep in a row he's been MIA. :irked: Next week looks intense! Sawyer/Locke! :woot: |
Yunjin Kim is an amazing actress. She did so good tonight. A couple of what the heck moments....
Patch guy was back! Scary... They found the plane and everyone was dead??? What's going on? :bawl:  |
:) Okay, i need to comment and say that i found this episode more compelling than i originally thought it was going to be!
I was happy with the revelation that Jin is the father of their baby. That was some unexpected good news; however, Sun's fate now hangs in the balance! Where are the scientific/biological ramifications for women/developing fetus' coming from on this island? Jin came to the island a sterile man; however, Juliet's revelation is that the sperm count of men nearly doubles on this island compared to the normal male back in civilization. This would explain why Jin was able to father the baby. Therefore, it seems reasonable to conclude that the island is having a positive effect on the male reproductive system while it has an adverse effect on the female reproductive system (9 female "Others" have died about halfway into their pregnancies). Juliet's theory must be on target b/c both Danielle and Claire conceived off the island, came to the island pregnant, and lived along with their babies. Juliet's presumption/hypothesis was that whatever is occuring is happening at conception. Conception would be the union of the egg and sperm; therefore, there is probably something wrong with one of these sex cells or both! The question is which one and why? Does the abnormally higher sperm count do something to the sperm making it incompatible with the egg? Or maybe the egg production in the women is made ineffective somehow by the island? Like maybe there is some type of chromosomonal imbalance created at conception and then the women's body rejects it later on during her pregnancy? This creates alot of questions and i hope Sun will be the first woman to conceive on the island and make it through alive. And wow, this island does have the ability to bring the dead back to life? I joked about it when one of my favorite character's died but i never actually thought i'd see it! But there was Mikhail alive and well! Interesting revelation about flight 815 being found and all the passengers being dead! Personally, as of right now, i think it was a cover-story given to the public to reduce panic about a disappearing plane that never reappeared out of the sky after vanishing!!! That's just my theory right now! It'll be interesting to find out who the mystery woman is!!! Overall, a good episode! Liked the Sun/Juliet interaction! |
wow that was a pretty big ending! how did they find the plane if it's remains were on the island? And did they find the bodies of the Lostie or just assumed that everyone died when they found the plane.
|
WTF on that ending ?!?
Sun and Juliet make an awesome pair!!! Hats off to Yunjin and Elizabeth :D  Good job ladies. I always enjoy Sun and Jin's backstories and tonight proved it once again!!! I had a feeling the baby was Jin's and I love it when I am right  Loved Hurley!!! Oops when he shot the flare :lmao: And Jin, woah  where did he learn how to do that?!? Next week, Sawyer and Locke together :thud: It looks friggin awesome!!! |

So are they in purgatory or not? I'm having my doubts on what Naomi said but I did shout WTF when she said that because I thought they'd never go there.
|
I thought the writers said they weren't all dead? They flat out refused that
I'm thinking the Flight 815 Naomi spoke about was staged by Dharma (or whoever the heck is in charge) so that the families of the survivors wouldn't go looking for them. Quote:
Back to the episode, this is the first time I actually found Jin/Sun flashbacks boring/fillers. But it did explain Jin's roots and exactly how ruthless Sun truly is when threatened. Jin's mother was a bitch. Loved the Juliet/Sun scenes. Two such talented actresses should always share scenes. And :yay: Jin's the babydaddy! |
