i mean.. okay the whole thing was forced again..but thats always the case with a non Jate scene

but the only thing that made Jack kiss juliet was until she dropped "and he knows how i feel about you."
okay so there Jack is, all broken because he thinks Kate, the woman he loves is gone, that he got picked over another man once again. A woman who couldn't gell him how she really felt. Who wouldn't run away. SO thats why he kissed her. To get over Kate. (which obviously won't help)
The man just needed someone.. I mean if i had been there and told him how I felt about him he would have kissed me too....
if only I didn't had so much trouble finding that island. grrrr.

That kiss was just some salt in our dear oysters. Salt in the oysers dudes. Salt in the oysters.

What the hell?! It's been four days since Jack told Kate he loves her. Just four friggin days! I've just come to the conclusion that he kissed Juliet because A: there hasn't been any actual repsonse from Kate and B: now that Jack knows that Kate knows that everyone knows she's wanted for murder back home, that she won't leave with him, so there's no point.

That's so the only explanation. He's settling.

I think Jack is hurting on some level, and is aggarvated by Kate. Juliet was ready and willing. She knows exactly what's she's doing, and knows Jack is in love with another woman.

I'm looking forward to Kate's reaction to this little development. She saw red immediately when she saw how Jack was turning towards Juliet instead of her when they returned from Othersville, and even more when she saw them kiss. So this should be very interesting to watch. Maybe we'll actually see Kate fight for her man.

I would love to see Kate call Jack out about how he just told her he loved her and is now kissing Juliet. Then he can throw back how she never responded, and has been running around with Sawyer. They can get into a heated arguement and finally get EVERYTHING out of the table.

Maybe this little salt is exactly what our oyster needs to get the ball rolling.

But does Jack KNOW she was running around with Sawyer again? (I think her bitchslapping him though deserves to be appluaded again.) Either way, I think that getting the Jakcet 'seriousness' out of the way will work. Obviously, Kate won't be pissed forever, as we saw in Eggtown.

And how adorable was Jack mopping up Kate's bloody head?

I honestly think Jack thinks Kate isn't an option at this point in time. If he thought for a second that he could really be with Kate..Juliet who?

It's understandle but yet so frustrating. It's not Jack giving up on Kate or loving her any less...he's just human and Juilet is there, and yeah boo, but Jate is going to happen and I believe all the waiting is going to make it even more worth it.

LOVE the caps you posted! I love they way they look into each other's eyes. My sister always tells me that it looks like they want to eat other up whenever they look at each other. So true!

Ok, I didn't think I could say that one day, but for me - as Lyns - is harder to watch. I'm sincerely sad, sincerely angry, sincerely jealous (Jacket:2|Jate:1), sincerely impatient to see this triangle ending. Don't try to console me for Jack's motives- I know he had to suffer, he is suffering - but I've always been protective towards Jack. He is only for Kate. And seeing him kissing another woman, huging another woman, leaving Kate for Juliet really has - as in IDO - to break my heart. Wait is a thing, but have the same enthusiasm after 4 seasons - especially if it's to see that - is another story. I don't want to demoralize everybody, but I needed to say it.

If I weren't so upset about the stupid kiss, I could see it as sweet. Jack was trying to be comforting. And I'm not threatened by Jacket. Just disgusted/piningforJate.

Liesbeth, Jate "reunited" this episode, it seems like Dark source watches another show, eheh...

Pauline, I understand your feelings...what bothers me here is that Jack chose Juliet over Kate; this wasn't about circumstances like the cage sex, he chose to kiss Juliet, after being reunited with Kate, and knowing she stayed there for Miles...
Maybe Jack is just tired, and I agree, what triggered him into kissing her was her telling Jack she has feelings for him...
I don't know how this is going to play out...Jack and Kate are in a strange place now.
I think they're going to add angst to angst, and this is gonna explode one day...
I mean, he can try to be with Juliet, but we'll see he will fail at getting over Kate(Eggtown everyone?)
It's just that this Jacket development, the way this kiss happened ecc, was very strange and out of the blue...

I wanna see how long they are gonna make us wait for a significant jate progress...

Yes, what despondent me it's the interest which he brings her. Although at the bottom of me I know that he loves Kate more than everything in the world, knowledge he is moving is something hideous. Abandon Kate for Juliet...this is torture. All this crap just made me want to cry.

And the kiss! How many times did Jack and Kate look at eachothers's lips?

Even in the final scene of TTLG, it would not have been shocking.

I liked the Jacket kiss, don't be mad at me

it wasn't hot and passionate as spoiled, am I wrong? I don't dislike Jacket scenes, they at least have more chemistry than Skate but I don't feel butterflies in my stomach watching Jack and Juliet while wissing even if I still feel like that watching the Jate-one-and-only-old-kiss we had again and again. I'm sure this means a lot

I'm a little sad they have the Jate reunion in this episode, I would have liked they'd reunited in the next one. Maybe just not to have Jacket and Jate at the same time

I hope we had a good reunion scene but reading your posts I'm not so sure...

Newbie, the "reunion" scene was a bit random, I have to admit I miss the emotional season 3 scenes...

I mean, I reached a point when I want more...
Anyway, Jack tending Kate was cute, and I loved his "It's ok, it's allright".

But I didn't like how he left her there on the ground to look for Juliet...

The other scene was full of angst!!I have to say, these two are so hot...
You can feel the chemistry and the tension even when they're walking through the jungle.
Kate told Jack she stayed in Othersville to question Miles, and told him they know she's a fugitive...I hope they will talk about it...

IMO, this episode would have been crap without BEN!!!
OMFG, I love him!

How he went out of the house and said to Hurley and Sawyer "I'll see you at dinner"(don't know if this is the exact quote)...

I think Hurkey and Sawyer are gonna think again about their decision to join team Locke...

Ben and Juliet scenes were great...
