I know! And I can't believe we're getting LOST overload from ABC. Something on Wednesday and two hours worth of stuff on Thursday!

My boyfriend and I have scheduled our week around the Lost stuff.

ETA: I love how we're basically just running back and forth between this thread and the MF one, holding two different conversations. I guess we're just that talented.

I just went back and watched their first kiss tonight (screw homework!), and all I have to say is...

WE NEED ANOTHER ONE!!

One that doesn't end with them running from each other.

I really think we'll get one this season. After the ILY how long can they hold back from each other?

Okay, but am I the only one who has a sick feeling Kate isn't going to give us a reaction we'll be happy with? It's pretty safe to say she won't return it, but they could still spin a beautiful response.

Well, I'm not sure she'll say a straight ILY either. The only thing that might change that is that they think they're getting rescued. She might think she needs to do something before it's too late. I think it's safe to say she'll have to make the next move because Jack thinks she's happy and has decided to let her pursue that happiness he thinks is there. She's going to have to let him know that she doesn't want him to let go of her. I'm sure it will be addressed. Now in the FFs I could see her saying an ILY but on the island I'm not so sure. It's possible.

Sorry, I just started rambling.

She does need to let him know that she doesn't want him to let go of her. But seeing him express his love for her without any expectation, and in his own way stepping aside so she can be happy (or at least he thinks will make her happy), makes me love him even more!

His ILY was totally and completely unconditional. The fact that it was just something he needed her to know, something that he couldn't hold back anymore makes me melt.

I don't think he could ever totally leave her life just because he loves her so much, but he would let go of her romantically as much as he wouldn't want to. I think even while he is letting go of her in that sense he can't turn off his love so it will always come pouring out when they're together. Jack has said what he wanted to, now she needs to speak up this season!

I would love to see her pining after Jack. The glimpse of what we got towards the end of s3 was perfect. She definitely did not like not having Jack's affection. Now that she sees he's stepping aside she needs to let him know that she wants him back.

But I won't be suprised if initially she lets him walk away. I'm firmly convinced Kate does not believe that she deserves anything good. She even says that in the episode where Jack and Kate kiss! So by letting Jack step aside she is once again buying the lie that she can never have something good for herself.

I hate that she lets herself buy into that. I want to see her grow from that, to realize that past mistakes don't have to define your future. Just like Jack told her in S1, they all deserve a chance to start over. I'm hoping now that Jack has looked right at her and told her he loves her she will start to see that he's not judging her and never has.

You pretty much took the words right out of my mouth.

I really feel like her character is at a stand still. By staying with Sawyer she hasn't overcome anything. But choosing Jack means she's forgiving herself, and moving forward. It represents her choosing a better life for herself in a way.

Like we've said over and over, Jack represents redemption. But to achieve that she has to allow herself to believe she can have something greater than what she has known.

I love our couple.

But on that note, I have to call it a night!
