Have you ever noticed how right after the kiss and they still for a moment, then Kate does a little head nudge in Jack's direction like she wants to go back and kiss him again?

You should watch it. It's totally obvious.

well,I think that what made Kate run was not just the fact that she was scared or shocked..it was also THIS...

..we saw how sawyer reacted in that cage when she was crying and she kissed him. But jack didn't.he was more shocked than her and he had no time to process and no intention of taking advantage.he pulled back. and it's something kate is NOT used to. at ALL.that's why she thought jack didn't want that from her. she's not used in men behaving like that with her.
He never stared at her

ing or made snarky comments about how she looks.And this for kate,meant that he was not interested in that way.she knows the truth now tho

Great post, Franci. You're so spot on. Before Jack Kate was so used to people taking advantage of her, which is something that Jack would never do. So she thinks it's right to treat her that way, because she's almost never experienced that way. And when Jack does something completely different she does not know what to do, so she runs.

Well,she's learning what be loved by Jack Shephard really means... and she'll get used to it pretty soon 'cause once you go Jack,you can never go back!

Jack is a real committment person...he's such a lovely person. He loves her so much that he's willing to let her go and yet he'll always love her.
