And didn't you already go through that, the other way around though?

I remember you were more sticking to Jate after NIP and then drifted back in the middle. Clearly that's just your thing, to like both, so don't worry about it.

So, to foster a bit of healthy discussion...what I'm seeing from your assessment of the ships is that you may have some issues with Jack. Is that right? What is it about Jack or his love that Kate may need to understand in order to love him back? I'm a tad confused about what you meant by that

I think I felt I had to choose because I never was torn before with a show I truly loved. I always knew who I supported and I always stuck with it. Case in point, Dawson's Creek, I never liked DJ, I always liked PJ - from the very first season and I never drifted. I like having that set couple, but I have accepted that with this show, I may be torn for awhile.

I do have issues with Jack - not so much his love for Kate because I do think he loves her. I think what I meant is I wish there was more depth to them. We haven't had many scenes lately where they talk about their past. I do think they have a deep understanding but I want to be shown it more on the screen in more talks than fights. Like Season 1, they seemed to be in the getting-to-know you phase.

I want more depth to their relationship if that is even possible.

I feel as though sometimes they are on two completely different areas of life and they keep missing one another. I want to see what happens when they are on the same road, walking side by side, fully accepting one another.

Does that make sense?

It does make sense Katie, and I think thats exactly why the writers are doing what they are doing. They've kept people wanting more for Jate for a long, long time. They were totally on their way there at the end of s2 and then bam! they get captured (stupid Michael!

) and I think TTLG was a baby step back in that direction again, but we'll see.

Yeah, I think with my case on the show, I just got frustrated because it felt like we got jipped two seasons in a row even though we had some great scenes. I completely agree with what you said about the baby steps. I look forward to what Season 4 will bring.

I completely understand what you're saying Katie

Also with Dawson's Creek, I've always been a D/J fan, since the very beginning. I never wavered between the two. But with Lost (while I've also been a fan of Jate since the fist episode) I have friends that have flip-flopped between the two. I don't criticize them for liking Skate or not liking Jate, it's just their personal opinion and all the arguing in the world couldn't change that (if that makes sense?) We're not here to fight over why certain ships are better or worse, we're here to talk about one ship that we all love

I'm so excited for the potential mobisode! is it confirmed that it's Jate? i hope they put it online b/c VCast is expensive

It's not officially confirmed, but it's a strong possibility. And I know on DarkUFO someone films it off their phone and then puts it on Dark's site. But within a couple of days they put up a larger version.

Either way! How awesome would it be!?

Well yeah!

I have my moments when I feel crappy about the Jate situation, but I just get passionate and hardcore about every ship I have in any show, so I could never switch.

Oh btw you guys...seeing as our mod is posting in this thread, nows the time to ask about the "if the season 4 pics are still considered spoilers or not" thing since you said they're now official.
