I know! And how in the world could it be bad? I mean, yes, on the surface they're not together but goodness the emotions and tension between them...

Not to mention at that point Jack had decided that he was going to turn his life around, make things right. I think that's amazing. Now if he would have given up on Kate and turned back to his drugs I would have been upset but he didn't. He's pulling himself out of his downward spiral and he knows Kate has to go back with him. He didn't say, "I have to get back there, Kate." No. He said, "Kate, WE have to go back."

I love those two.

So true!

That's the thing, is that they aren't together, yes, but that is the one of many things wrong with this entire situation.

"WE have to go back." Why say that if he was willing to go by himself? I do recognize that he tried to go back by himself, but that makes Jate's case so much stronger. They need to be together.

I know some people say that Kate looked good, but I didn't see that. She was clearly torn about the whole island situation, whatever it may be. It even said in the script that as much as she's trying to convince Jack, she's trying to convince herself too.

The FF has just opened so many doors for the writers as storytellers, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

So, so true! I didn't see Kate very happy in that FF. And the fact that of all the people they could have chose the writers chose Jack and Kate for the final scene in the FF says so much. And, OMG. What a great thought about the script!

Kate looked GOOD?

Sure,maybe if you've never watched the scene and u just see a pic of it,u could say that Kate looks "good".meaning that she's clean,she has a nice car,she's definitely not on the run,and she's not a mess like jack..but if u actually watch the scene..well,she's just broken. as much as jack is.she's just trying to hide it under the nice car,hair and makeup. and she's not really hiding it THAT well

Kate's in a situation where formerly everything would have been convenient for her, but not now. Not now that Jack is in her life
