| Elite Fan | 10. SOS - The Net For obvious reasons, it's HOT.  I watched S2 on DVD, so I didn't endure the Jate hiatus during S2 at length. But I sure did feel it. Not fun. For once, it was just about them. In a close space. All up over each other. It was cute, flirty, sexy all rolled up into one. They both LOVED being in that net together. That much is obvious. 9.(I'm adding one) WTCMB - Jack catches Kate trying to pull the key from the Marshall It brought huge depth to their pairing. It was so angsty and sad. I loved it. For once, Kate couldn't bat her eyelashes and use the guy who likes her to get what she wants. Yes, she got him to dig the Marshall up, but once he saw her pull the key, he didn't hold back. I don't want this to sound like Kate was the bad one because I think Jack could've taken the scene in the caves a little differently, but Kate has never been held accountable to her actions in relation to men. Here's a guy who she meets in unimaginable circumstances and the last thing she wants to do is disappoint him, but yet she still tries to use his "authority" to get what she wants. When Jack confronted her, I think the whole ballgame changed concerning their relationship in Kate's eyes. She realized how much she didn't want to disappoint and hurt Jack. It was just another reminder of what Jack meant to Kate. And just how deep that went.Okay. That^^ might not be coherent at all. I hope you get it.   Quote:

| Thanks guys! I knew you'd comfort me  The dvd is not out for sale yet (I think) but you could pre-order it on the internet (at least in Brazil people could). It kind of annoys me a little that Evie is such a Skater and doesn’t even try to hide it. She sees all these amazing things in Skate (which I don’t) and cant seem to see all the wonderful things in Jate (which I do) Yes, I do think they have feelings for each other, but it’s not the real thing. | I think Evi is just really confused right now (as in, in s3) I think she wants the triangle to be ended as badly as we do. She did used to say some great things about Jate in s1 and s2, so I think she just wants things to be over with. | Elite Fan | Thanks Diana! Aww...I know what you mean Fernanda. I guess everyone just has their own opinion. I never have gotten a lot of the stuff Evi says about the ships but that's her opinion I guess. Like I've said though, all I care about really is the writers opinion, and according to the podcast they've known from the beginning where they were going with this, and we all know who that is. Okay guys, I was wondering something. What do you think about changing the links in the opening posts to small graphics that link to the different pages? I think it would flow really well with the opening and having some art links in there would be better than the plain links. Plus, we should take advantage of our image limit and get all the pretty Jate we can in there. What do you all think? __________________ the fever is near | b. james. | |||

| Well I did some minibanners for the 200th like this:  I can change the names on them to say whatever links we need to replace, like "fanfiction" or whatever. | Elite Fan | 8.ATBCHDI - Jack and Kate save Charlie First off, it's insanely moving. It's not even about Jate particularly. More about the team they showcased during the scene. When they find Charlie hanged, they go in immediate "save him" mode. Jack grabs him by his legs, lifts him up and tells Kate to climb up the bamboo and cut off the homemade noose. Watching Kate crying over losing Charlie and trying to tell Jack that it's time to give up is just... . Yet Jack never gives up. He keeps going. Kate keeps crying. Then, it happens. Charlie breathes again.  The look on their faces when they make eye contact. Plus, they played 'Life and Death' throughout the scene which is my Lost anthem.     ^TEAM! 7. The Moth - Hug of ALL Hugs/Sling Scene Um...totally squee-worthy moment. It showed how deep Kate's feelings went. The beginning of the episode it was "get off the island, get off the island" to "save Jack, save Jack" mindset for her. All of the sudden when Jack's life was on the line, the appeal of being rescued didn't seem to matter so much anymore. When she hugged him, she didn't hold back. Pure love, man. Pure love. | Yeah we'd need fansites and fanfic and I was thinking about making one for "songs" and making a page with our list of songs (from the 200th) that remind us of Jate. Well the thing about the banners is one of my favorite parts is the glowy white writing hehe. So I lightened the background, this is just an experiment:  I'm unsure about the image under the text, but I wanted to put another shot in there  Unless you guys want me to do all of those with gameroom scene images? These were the others that are part of the 4 original ones I made:    The Reminders one is the only one I'd be hesitant to change, cause the guava seeds are reminders Ooh, maybe I can put in the gameroom scene hand shot Since hand holding is a good reminder of Jate heheRandom but do you guys know the song "Fade Into You" by Mazzy Star?
