I don't mind changing up the opening post but like Shiran said, let's be respectful of those who put a lot of time and effort into those banners. They are not easy to make and deserve respect.

That being said, we haven't really changed the opening post at all. So this should be good. Will we be keeping the moments though? Those took me hours to make and go through episodes to have every scene? That's the only thing I care about.

That said, a change would do us good.

Katie, I'm sure we'll always keep the moments up.
IMO it is true that art takes a lot of time and is deserving of recognition, but as you said the opening has been the same for a long time. Probably 100+ threads by now, the only newer things are a few of the things put in around the 200th, so I think they've got the deserved recognition and its ok to change it by now and allow some new art to be showcased

Hey Jaters!

I like the idea of a change in the opening post. Everything in the opening is excellent IMO but it will be nice to change things up a bit.

I'm a complete dork. During the Emmy's, they were announcing the nominations for Best Writing and when Lost came up - they showed a clips from the episode of choice(no audio). I couldn't help, but giggle when the clip they used was the eyesex from Jack and Kate. hehe!

Darlton had such a great shot at winning. And I don't watch The Sopranos but something tells me they won just because it was their last year on air. I don't know, maybe it was better than TTLG but I highly doubt it. Honestly, I was a bit surprised Terry won. Not because I didn't think he was good enough, he's amazing, but because he was up against someone from The Sopranos. Maybe I'm just a bit cynical about awards and politics.

No, you're not cynical. Just absolutely correct.

I was shocked he won too for the same reason. That's what annoys me about award shows. They honor shows just because it's their last year. They might've earned it - I don't know. But that's what comes to mind about The Sopranos winning.

Plus - James Spader?!?!
