Whoa, that's cool there was already a thread title with that. I was thinking it would be a cool one to use.

I would love to have the second jiss in the first half of S4 at least. I'm not sure if I have that much faith in the writers though. We'll see. I also keep in mind that there's FF material too. Meaning we may get more than one kiss.

Hmm...that's a good point but at the same time, considering Kate doesn't run again (

), I don't think it would be as awkward/confusing as in s2.

Oh and while you're here, are you the one in charge of the "previous threads" site thing? Cause we were thinking that maybe we should move about half of that list, its getting pretty long.

That would be a horrible, horrible move on the writers part to have Kate run again. I know I, as a viewer am ready for her to get herself back together and learn how to quit running. I want to see her face her problems. I'm sure all of us do.

Ash, it's strange because I think Kate was all ready to stop running for Jack, ever since the walkie talkie scene in "I Do"...but what changed that? Juliet, basically. Not only telling her that she broke Jack's heart, but also thinking she was replaced by her. So I definitely think Jack's ILY was the major thing that Kate needed to turn her back around on the right track

. I hope so, anyway.

That was another thing that was just so frustrating about S3. It was pretty apparent that Kate was torn up after 'I Do' and she was all about going after Jack. Like Evi said, "For once she didn't run." Then to have her do that 180 back to the girl who runs and feels undeserving. It was just really sad. Juliet really did play with her head. I think we saw the beginning of her turn around after the ILY...

I'm hoping that she'll stick on that track and progress in S4.

You know speaking of Juliet, Kate finally saw in the finale that Juliet has not in fact replaced her. With these two, even if they continue to not be anything more than friends (god, lets hope not

), they will always mean a great deal to each other, and will always have a connection and I think that's something that is underestimated sometimes:
Case in point, I honestly don't really mind Jacket that much (I know, sorry for those that don't like Juliet

), but of course Jate is OTP. And here's why, because Kate will always be everything for Jack (and vice versa

), but my point is that I clicked on this Jacket fic about them being rescued, and it has Jack just brushing Kate off in favor of Juliet. And I've seen that done a lot before in fic, and aside from this past season because of Jack being hurt and distant, that would NEVER happen!

After the finale especially! At least in s3, it was because he still did care very much that he had to try to separate himself, but these fics have him as if he doesn't care at all, and like I said, it's just not gonna happen, the FF made at least that much obvious.

I don't think Jack would ever just brush Kate off. There's way too much there. Not to mention, Jack just isn't that way. Not to people he cares about. I remember in 'The Brig' it kind of bothered me when I first saw that he wouldn't talk to her in private and then the more I thought about it, the more I couldn't really blame him at all. While I don't think he was jealous, I do think he was hurt no matter how much he tried to fight it, and I think that finally manifested itself a bit in 'The Brig.' That's also what made the ILY even more powerful. He chose to look beyond his hurt because he loves her. He's not going to give up on someone he loves and cares about. Ever. And while he thinks she's with Sawyer he's not going to give up their friendship and connection. That would hurt even more.

I wonder sometimes how people can discount the FF, the ILY, etc. I guess that's another topic but the way the story has been presented it just blows my mind sometimes.

Yeah, exactly, Ash. The fact is, we're all human, and nobody can say that they haven't lashed out at someone or ignored them, etc. when they've been hurt. It's human nature to do those things in an attempt to protect yourself.
Plus, in GH Jack said that Juliet came up to him "a couple days ago" and told him all about Ben's plan, right? So he had probably just found out about it and his mind was reeling about that.

Yeah, ignorance is bliss right? Hey, I suppose I can't blame those people, I practice that motto too sometimes

That's true. He probably didn't know what in the world to do when she told him that. I can't blame him at all. When you're trying to take care of 40 people on an island it's not like he's going to automatically going to know what to do with that information.
