They are amazed by each other, and as the time runs, they start to depend of each other, care about each other, the connection between them is getting stronger. | You're welcome! I like the title cause it applies to a lot of scenes: the hydra, the piano/gameroom scenes in TMFT, and then the FF scene in TTLG. So let me tell you how to start a thread: you go to the first post w/ all the stuff on it and click "reply with quote" then you copy that info and past it into a new thread (click "post new thread" button). Make sure to erase the quote tags at the beginning and end. Then you copy the address of the current thread (so for this one I copied 217) and paste it under the rest of the "previous threads" in a url tag. That part isn't as important as the initial moving all info to the new thread. I'm still going to try to hop on the thread some though until it gets fixed. So what has been going on? Nothing much I suspect since we're only one month into the hiatus.  Diana, that is a perfect Kate song. Since I've been absolutely addicted to Maroon 5 lately I found another song for Future!Jate. I imagine this song applies to the situation between Jack and Kate in the FF because it's obvious that there was something going on between them before they were forced apart. And since they can't be together for whatever reason they'll still be there when the time comes when they find their way back. | Elite Fan | ITA. I think they both inspire each other to grow. Jack is so serious and Kate helps inspires him to lighten up a little and enjoy life more. It's no wonder they are the canon of the show. They really do balance each other in all ways. That's why the FF was so off. They didn't balance at all. I can't wait to see that change. __________________

| Yes, exactly you guys! The ying and the yang They are two halves of a whole!! That's why they are never truly complete/happy without the other. Which is WHY they should have kept the Moth scene where Kate tells she felt like a goose just walked over her grave after the cave in just happened.  And its great that neither of them let each other get away with crap. Jack called out Kate on the briefcase thing and she made him talk to her in THP and she owned up to her transgression and apologized. I think that was a big thing for her and it probably wouldn't have happened if what occured in WTCMB never happened. It's interesting that this season showcased their biggest issues and showed them doing the opposite because of/for each other. Jack let Kate go both in I Do/NIP and perhaps also in TTLG in a way w/ the ILY scene. | Elite Fan | I love the connection between these two!! Those are such great points guys! I can't wait to see where they're going to go in season 4. I think they've finally realized that they have to have each other to be complete. I love what you said Carlie about Kate being the only one to take care of Jack. It's so true. He's always taking care of other people and looking out for them. That's constantly what he did with Sarah but she didn't return the favor. She really turned all his care against him...but that's another can of worms. Sarah is not on my good side.  Kate on the other hand realizes Jack needs someone to care for him just as much as he cares for others. She knows him like that. I love in ATBCHDI where she calls him on his crap. She's trying to get him to talk to her and he won't stop because he wants to find Charlie. Then she says "Stop it." And he says, "What?" Kate: "That." And he knew right then and there what she was talking about. __________________

| !!!! I love that scene! It totally shows how they know each other so well. It's hard to describe really, but it's almost like they can read each other so well, that they are especially perceptive to each other's thoughts and feelings. Although I think we were all surprised when Jack said ILY - Kate especially.
