My own opinion is that I think that the Jack and Kate thing
will be an over-long, over-arching, long-term thing on the show.

Question about how you feel about the triangle: Would you rather have the triangle resolved now where Kate would choose Sawyer or would you rather have it resolve at the end of the show and have her possibly be with Jack?

I think that many Skaters just say they want the triangle resolved now and that it would make everyone happy regardless because they think she would then stick with Sawyer.

Jenna, that's a double-edged sword cause yes I want the triangle over, but it would be ludicrous to have Kate stick with Sawyer right now. After everything they've showed us in the eps since the show came back from hiatus, it just wouldn't be a "geniune" choice, so the triangle wouldn't truly be over. I realize I'm a bit biased but I'd like to think I can see things logically as well when it comes to the triangle. Now if she "chose" Jack, well I suppose she would still have some issues to resolve with Sawyer, but imo they could totally be friends and I can see that working.
So overall, if it had to come down to it I guess I would choose not to end the triangle now if the writers still haven't gotten over their Skate phase.

And okay of course the Skaters think that...LOL...

I don't mind the triangle so much when its done RIGHT and the characters actually act like themselves. If the triangle were to end now, which, it might very soon - I have no doubt Kate would be with Jack. I want the two people who are TRULY and GENUINELY in love to be together. And as far as I can tell, Damon and Carlton have made that abundantly clear who those two people are. That's all I need to know.

To be honest I don't care either way because IMO she'd end up with Jack whether it ends now or later, but as long as they keep the story interesting and as long as they don't go overboard with making Kate a sex object (because her character is SO MUCH cooler than that)...then I'm cool with whatever they decide to do.

And because this deserves to be on every page....

the thing with the triangle is that it will never be a win-win situation. if it goes the skaters way, then the jaters will be disappointed, but will never give up (well i wont) until the show finishes. however, if it goes out way (

) then both jacketeers and skaters will be bitter.. so either way, ratings are dropped.. If i had my way. the stupid triangle would never exist in the first place but unfortunatly that didnt happen.. so i guess id have to pick the second option, having the triangle resolved at the end and having jate, coz then i know its a sealed deal.. and i really cant remember where i was going with this.. lol!

I did like the triangle in S1 and the beginning of S2. I think that Jack's unease with Kate being with Sawyer helped show Jack's true feelings about Kate.

As bad as this season was for us, we're moving into Jate territory now.

The declaration in the finale is going to be so worth the wait. I can't help thinking about how the whole scene's going to play out on Wednesday.
