| Moderator Support Team ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Ooh, i got it now They are the same people, i thought that was all a lie for a moment. Now i'm a little less confused with that.Christian... and Claire... This is a wtf moment.. because, he is meant to be dead. So do we think, he isn't dead? Because he was there, in the room.. so it's not like Locke is seeing things (Because why would he imagine him, of all people) And why the hell is Claire so creepy, calm.. and not caring about her son? __________________ Icon - Coffee_Mill 1st September 2008 - Sara Tancredi returns from the Un-Dead. | a) maybe Cristian is dead, but only in the real world. In the island world maybe he isn't just like Lock can walk, and Rose doesn't have cancer.... b) I was just thinking that neither Ben, nor Lock were motherless, and now Aaron seems to be too, maybe all the special ones, must be raised alone??? And maybe that's Jacob believes. And that psychic that had told Claire she must raise Aaron was just at the "opposite" side of Jacob. Like he didn't want Aaron to be the next one, after Ben. Now that I think about it, Walt's mom is dead too. __________________ Sophia Cornelia Estrellas con Petardos | |||

Instead of me listing the people who were raised by another (at parts of their lives) it would probably be a shorter list to write about the people who were raised in a two parent household, where both parents were their biological parents. I can't even think of anyone right now... I guess some could argue Jack, but I wouldn't count Christian as a real father, he was distant, almost like not having a father at all. ETA: In regards to whether Christian IS or isn't dead (regarding Darlton's statement), it's the same with Claire. Whether or not she's dead isn't the point, it's what is going ON... and what IS dead. And so what is dead? And that makes me think of the other theory I have kinda pieced together, which examines stuff. Like I know it's always been a popular thought of purgatory and they quickly ruled that out. But what about other religions, and other beliefs? And somebody previously brought up the GREAT idea of re-incarnation. And what's cool about that whole theory is that Aaron is the great great grandson of Jacob. Do you think that that is the exact reason why we "met" Jacob when we did? Because he was "alive" again, through Aaron? Which kinda explains Christian's "existance" on the island. I gotta formulate a better way of explaining this. But what does everyone think?

![]() And for the record, if it turns out that Locke has to literally move the island, I'm done with this show. Because that is just stupid. ![]()

The concept of being dead. I wonder if there's ever been any cases of people who have dwindled in that space between being alive, and seeing the light. There's a lot of medical miracles. I don't think medical miracles are in a state of being conscious enough to walk, and talk like Claire though. But I wanna know more about THAT. I wanna talk about dead, because the island has always been about dead or not. Like for instance there's the "ghosts" people see, dead people that they've known in their life. That the island doesn't know, hasn't met, because those people have never been on the island. Then there's Niki/Paulo, who people HATED, but they brought up such an interesting point, THEY WERE BURIED ALIVE. I wonder ... because of the time messups... the delays, and what not--- Is it at all possible that that makes that point of time, the time between being alive, and being dead a little more stretched? Like normally, you get shot like John did, and you bleed out. But what makes you dead? What contributes to being dead? Is it part of shock? And if you take that shock away, are you calm like Claire was? And if you're calm, or rather full of that feeling where you can't feel pain.... those endorphins that are released .... do you survive? Could you survive? Or rather, could your death to be prolonged? And that would be because of the time mess ..... And I do realize that N/P were just paralyzed, I just think it was a shoutout, it was them that made me really start thinking about life vs death, and who else could have survived had they not buried them. So scary to think about, what's worse then being buried alive? Also, I realize that John survived because of his absence of a kidney. But it was still a seemingly good shot, that you'd think somebody would just bleed from, and die. Not to mention how he could be so injured, and get out of that hole. Other somewhat jointed thought: Walt (tall Walt, lol) gave Locke the "inspiration" to continue his journey. Abaddon also gave Locke encouragement to continue, and DO Something (which is what got him on the island in the first place). Both call him Mr.Locke. And I know that's his last name, but did anyone else call him that? They just say it the same way. And I'm not saying that Tall Walt is Abbandon, I just find it interesting, Abaddon would have to be time traveling though, because he seems much the same age when we see him with John, and when we see him with Hurley, and Naomi. Anyway.

![]() Yeah, so Kevin Durand is awesome, but Keamy is just a psycho. I can't believe he shot the captain!!! Gutted about that, by the way. Yeah, I'm worried what he'll do when he gets to the island, I hope Frank has something up his sleeve to stop him. And seriously, LOST just messes with my mind more and more every week. Isn't Christian supposed to be dead? Clearly he's not...but how did he even end up on the island in the first place? Where the hell does he fit into this already fracked-up picture?! Claire...I don't know what to think. She's brainwashed or something, because there's no way Aaron wouldn't be her first priority. I'm looking forward to the moment where Jack discovers they're related. Poor John by the way, he doesn't get a break. And what is the deal with Richard and his non-aging, flawless eye-liner ways? And what the hell was "moving the island" all about?! ARGH! *pulls at hair* I love LOST, but it frustrates me to no end ![]()

He was the best thing to happen to the show. As much as I loved Logan and Alec.. Joshua just pulllllllllled at the heartstrings, and he was absolutely amazing. I've seen a lottttt of Durand's work, but because of his size.. he usually plays the huge, tough, kickass guy.. but I do absolutely love him on Lost, ahaha.

| One way to "move" the island is to change it's electromagnetism so that the compass settings that the people on the boat use to get to the island now will send them off in some other direction. Isn't that how the island has been hidden all along? I know the computer where they had to keep entering those numbers is gone. But they could have some other interface to whatever is causing the electromagnetic energy on the island. __________________ Buffy/Spike ~ Kara/Leoben ~ Athena/Helo ~ Kara/Sam | |||

| I'm wondering...just wondering...if Claire and Christian have slipped back in time. That would explain Christian being alive and Claire not caring about Aaron since in her time he's not born yet and she's hasn't even gotten pregnant yet. __________________ ~Connie~ #115 | |||
