Of course Locke opened the hatch because he knew that the answers to all his questions would be down there, screw everyone else who didn't want it open. As long as Locke could fulfill his destiny of pushing a button every couple of hours then all is well in the world It was definitly worth risking everyones lives and getting Artz killed so that Locke could type 4 8 15 16 23 42 over and over again

(I'm being sarcastic by the way )

Locke has no-one but himself to blame. Walt told him not to open the hatch but nooo, Locke had to do it.

Question: If you had a choice of Locke or Micheal to die in the finale, who'd you pick?

Locke no contest!

The balded idiot deserves to die after all the **** he's pulled.

I remember reading in a magazine once about Locke's character saying he just wants to control everything and that is so true.

Before the island Locke's life was beyond pathetic! I mean, working at a box company, having a phone-sex girl as his pretend 'girlfriend.' The island gave him the able to walk and he let it go to his head. Making him think he can do anything.

WRONG!!

Now he's just a bitter old man because the island screwed him over. Old man please! You should be used to people double crossing you by now, especially by your dad.

I remember the episode with him and Eko. How Eko was the new destiny believeing guy. The differnce is that with Eko I can actually believe him because Eko's life has been anything but pathetic. Plus, I like the big guy.

Locke is just jealous because Eko's dream was more helpful and a lot clearer to understand then his. To borrow a quote from the movie, The Da Vinci Code: "the mind sees what it wants it to believe."

Locke's dream about the drug was telling him it would help with the hatch, it was a warning. A warning what would happen if he didn't stop what he was doing.

So if Locke dies in this episode then I say, 'ding dong the psycho's gone!'

Locke pissed me off tonight. First, he decides the hatch and pushing the button is good. Then, he decides it isn't and Eko and Charlie nearly die to prove him wrong. And pushing the button is important! So, Desmond may be dead, because of Locke's stupid mistakes!
