Great episode.

I really hope they aren't all dead... that would be a bit dissapointing.

Yes, it sucks that Locke didn't consider Sawyer's guilt, but think about it this way: If Locke has killed Cooper, Sawyer would never know about it. This way, both Sawyer and Locke are 'free', instead of just Locke.

I guess the paramedics that showed about after Cooper's crash are Dharma, and that's how he got to the island.

Cooper blacking out in the ambulence then awaking on the island.

Remember Juliet? She took those drugs in the lab and then woke up on the sub hours later.

Very excellent theory with Cooper... it was an other that drugged in him the ambulence and brought him to the island. So the whole staging the plane crash in the middle of the ocean isn't too far fetched. The Others are willing to do just about anything to keep their location and identities a major secret.

They know who you are, what you have done, and what you need to do to receive your absolution to be able to move on. Eko received his absolution when he came to terms with the whole plotline of his brother and the plane wreck. Both Sawyer & Locke have gotten theirs now, so are they soon to go too, or do they serve another purpose that is not yet known? I REALLY don't believe we have seen the last of Michael or Walt. If we have learned anything, whether from the "survivors", the "Others", or ANYONE else, you cant seem to get away from the island, except in death, so I can't believe they just got on a boat and are gone. ESPECIALLY since Michael turned everyone in to get his son back and get escape from the island??? Too easy. His handing over the main characters to Ben should come back around to turn on him and Walt, as we know Ben is NOT a man of his word, and can't concieve him just releasing them like that. Claire, half Sister of Jack, unknowingly, Locke's Dad, being intertwined in both John's (of course) & Sawyer's (Holy Crap, Batman!!!) past, AND MANY MANY other coincidences, everyone in this group of strangers on a plane, for some reason, are ALL intertwined with each other in some way or another.

Last thought: Last night's ep... Best yet this season. Both Locke and Saywer are my favorite characters in the series, and was a treat to see the two of them hand in hand last night. For all of those who scoff Locke for making Sawyer kill his dad, suck it. If you have NO realization in what kind of character he is and what he IS and ISNT capable of, then maybe you really shouldnt be following at all. I know peoples favs are all gonna be different, but you dont have to LIKE a character to understand what he has been through and the kind of life he has had. In essence, in allowing Sawyer to do HIS "dirty" work, it was poetic justice for both. In the end, they BOTH got what they needed to find their piece-of-mind, and both walked away stronger than before. Plus it was a good building block for both Locke & Sawyer, and finally put them on the same page together. (Btw, WHY did she need the dynamite? does anyone know?) Instead of looking at the issue as Locke cant do it himself, look at it as a lateral action for BOTH men, which helped them BOTH get past the one thing that has haunted them all their lives. What would YOU tough-guy stone throwers have done if it were you? I hardly doubt it!!! Locke isnt a coward, he is just a man, like anyone else, that knows what his personal boundaries are. He KNOWS what he can and can't do, though everyone else tries to dictate it for him, including those that criticize his actions!!!!
Great review!! agree with what you said on Locke and James....

BUT I dunno if the survivors are really dead!, oh and also if they were alll really dead why would they want to concieve children then.. and then there are other things to consider, so yeah I think it's not that..

i actually think he's doing the opposite. as in trying to make everyone suspicious 'cus of his acting OOC. to make people suspicious of both him and juliet so they won't trust either of them. Maybe some people just aren't picking up on it *cough*kate*cough* who pretty much didn't leave him alone when he told her to with the Others at the old settlement.
Yeah, but why would Jack do that? I mean, what does he have to gain for the beachies to not trust him? I mean, Juliet's great and all...but he's made a lot of really great friends on that island and he wouldn't just aggravate them on purpose.

No, I'm sure that he's up to something that is for the benefit of the group.

This episode was one of the worst Lost episodes. The only good thing was the Sawyer scene with the real Sawyer. Josh did an incredible job.

I don't like at all this thing about not trusting Jack. It sucks. I hope he returns to be the leader again by the end of the season.

I dont believe the purgatory theory's to be honnest.
The many links they have to each other is juts built in to have more suspense in the series i think.

What i think is that ben's organisation, whatever it might be is something very powerfull and very rich. (maybe something experimental supported by the governement).
And what you do know is they have much power aswell in the normal world.
(submarine, the bus-accident that brought juliette there, immediate connection with outworld when juliette saw her sister), So i think it is obvious to me they can put a fake plane-crash in scene. So people dont start to look for it in the neighbourhood of the secret island.

Same with the kidnapping of Locke's father, in fact if you have the resources to do it, it is not so hard.

My first here by the way^^..nice built-up theory's here btw

The whole purgatory thing would be the biggest cop out ever. I credit TPTB with more creativity than that.

Amazing episode. I loved the Sawyer killing Sawyer part. Gut wrenching and great acting by Josh and Kevin.

Absolutely. Felt really bad for Sawyer. Even after he killed him.
