Love the episode!!! Can´t believe that Sawyer kill Locke´s father. I think that´s is gonna bring consecuences for Sawyer and Locke in the island.

That was a great episode (and totally Josh Holloway's Emmy reel).

Loved the Sawyer/Locke and Sawyer/Cooper scenes, especially when Sawyer realized who he was. I also enjoyed the flashbacks with Locke and the Others. So it appears Richard Alpert, who recruited Juliet, is another one of those disgruntled Others who wants a change...unless he lied to Locke, it would seem he's unhappy with Ben's authority.

Now that Sawyer's got the recorder, I'm anxious to see him blow Jack & Juliet's plan out of the water.

I just am totally wondering HOW the writers are gonna pull off the rest of the show, I mean, two people now have said they found the plane with all the bodies. Its gonna be interesting.

I saw the episode and I can't say how much I love it. Definatly one of my fave eps'. Yesterday when I first read Insiderscoop,I was really disappointed. But now after watching the ep and seeing once again what kind of a monster Locke's dad is...I have nothing against that Sawyer killed him. He dared to mention his mother and laugh in his face...I'd do the same frakking thing. He triggers the worst in Sawyer. I cried along with Sawyer.
I absolutely loved the Skate scene.

Josh Holloway kicks @$$ in every way. Give the man a damn Emmy!!
So,it's official...JOSH HOLLOWAY ROCKS MY WORLD!

Follow me here....

The island is REALLY a Purgatory where all characters must resolve issues that transpired in their lives before moving on to either Heaven or Hell. The OTHERS are more a symbolism of Peter at the Pearly Gates, with a twist. as they hold The Book (or files) with everyone's life history. They know who you are, what you have done, and what you need to do to receive your absolution to be able to move on. Eko received his absolution when he came to terms with the whole plotline of his brother and the plane wreck. Both Sawyer & Locke have gotten theirs now, so are they soon to go too, or do they serve another purpose that is not yet known? I REALLY don't believe we have seen the last of Michael or Walt. If we have learned anything, whether from the "survivors", the "Others", or ANYONE else, you cant seem to get away from the island, except in death, so I can't believe they just got on a boat and are gone. ESPECIALLY since Michael turned everyone in to get his son back and get escape from the island??? Too easy. His handing over the main characters to Ben should come back around to turn on him and Walt, as we know Ben is NOT a man of his word, and can't concieve him just releasing them like that. Claire, half Sister of Jack, unknowingly, Locke's Dad, being intertwined in both John's (of course) & Sawyer's (Holy Crap, Batman!!!) past, AND MANY MANY other coincidences, everyone in this group of strangers on a plane, for some reason, are ALL intertwined with each other in some way or another.

Last thought: Last night's ep... Best yet this season. Both Locke and Saywer are my favorite characters in the series, and was a treat to see the two of them hand in hand last night. For all of those who scoff Locke for making Sawyer kill his dad, suck it. If you have NO realization in what kind of character he is and what he IS and ISNT capable of, then maybe you really shouldnt be following at all. I know peoples favs are all gonna be different, but you dont have to LIKE a character to understand what he has been through and the kind of life he has had. In essence, in allowing Sawyer to do HIS "dirty" work, it was poetic justice for both. In the end, they BOTH got what they needed to find their piece-of-mind, and both walked away stronger than before. Plus it was a good building block for both Locke & Sawyer, and finally put them on the same page together. (Btw, WHY did she need the dynamite? does anyone know?) Instead of looking at the issue as Locke cant do it himself, look at it as a lateral action for BOTH men, which helped them BOTH get past the one thing that has haunted them all their lives. What would YOU tough-guy stone throwers have done if it were you? I hardly doubt it!!! Locke isnt a coward, he is just a man, like anyone else, that knows what his personal boundaries are. He KNOWS what he can and can't do, though everyone else tries to dictate it for him, including those that criticize his actions!!!!

Wonderfull ep!

here are the things, wich i liked:

1. Sawyer was really suffering, and Josh's acting is the BEST! i cried for the first time of all third season..

2. Very liked how Ben persuaded Lokke to kill his father. It was very strong moment! But actually i didn't like, that Lokke decided to transfere this buisness to Sawyer

3. Desmond is conspirator He is defenetly new leader

I love this theory, really do. But what about Penny then? How was she able to find the island in S2 from the listening station?

Otherwise, that all makes perfect sense!

Ok, Liz, broaden your mind and look at it from afar... The woman/party sent to find desmond by Penny, was in the helicopter wreck/crash/whatever. What if SHE really didnt survive the jump or crash, and was now in this purgatory WITH them...

I think the whole plane with the bodies found was set up by someone, like the Dharma Group. They found out that they were on their island or one of the Others alerted the group, and in order to keep them on the island, they crashed a plane with cadavers and their DNA. So maybe I'm stretching it with the DNA, but you never know. My dad is going with this theory too. But then there is Michael who is supposedly back home. Or is he?

I really liked this episode, but was disappointed with Kate's clingyness to Jack; running and telling him about the girl in the tent after Charlie, Sayid, Hugo told her not to. I knew she would, but for cripes sakes woman! Can't you keep something from him for once. I certainly do not trust Jack and I want to know what the Others want with Kate. Are they trying to get her pregnant to see if she can keep the baby, despite the deaths of the other women on the island?

The scene with Sawyer and John's dad was awesome. I knew he'd eventually end up killing him. Great acting on Josh's part. Kudos.

Looking forward to next week's episode. Looks good. Looks good. At least we FINALLY learn about the Dharma Group.

Mrs. George Eads, the same thing about Dharma) And i think also that exactly Naomi is the Other's spy
About Kate agree with you too! How she could do such stupid thing telling Jack about that woman

And Sawyer (James).. I have some doubts about his life in the further.. What if this episode was the solving in his story.. please, tell me that isn't true ((

I think that if they kill off Sawyer then they will get a lot of pissed off fans and even more that would stop watching the show. Me included!!

I think purgatory is too easy...it won't be that. I'd like to think that Ben and the Others don't want people to find out that the plane crashed on their island. Also, I'm pretty sure that when Cooper was talking about how he was in the ambulance, and then saw somebody smile down at him and then all went black...that it was an Other that was drugging him, which in turn means they probably caused the accident too.

Kate, Kate, Kate! What a ridiculous girl she's turning out to be! I'm sorry but, that was just wrong going straight to Jack. But, I like that she called him out like that in front of Juliet. I really think that whatever Jack and Juliet have planned is definitely to help the rest of the camp and losing their trust means that their plan won't work efficiently! That's why he's holding off on telling Kate what's going on.

This episode was a fantastic one, thanks to Josh Holloway.

Give the man an Emmy nomination - his performance tonight was off the charts. The way his eyes filled up with tears: "Her name was Mary" "you killed my daddy" - broke my heart.

ditto to this. Purgatoy theories have been so popular since the beginning.

plus...until someone says FOR SURE that they have a postitive ID on the bodies i won't belive it wasn't just something cooked up by people with POWER!

i actually think he's doing the opposite. as in trying to make everyone suspicious 'cus of his acting OOC. to make people suspicious of both him and juliet so they won't trust either of them. Maybe some people just aren't picking up on it *cough*kate*cough* who pretty much didn't leave him alone when he told her to with the Others at the old settlement.

Awesome episode!

Josh did a great job. Finally Cooper the heartless old bastard is dead. I knew Locke didn't have the stones to do it himself. I'm not a big Locke fan but enough I felt sorry for the guy when Cooper kept tauting him. Man, even chained up he still has a mouth. I swear I was about ready to kill him myself just to shut him up.

I knew it was hard for Sawyer to do that. I just wanted to hug him and make it better.

Go Josh,He did amazing in this episode.

The last half hour was so intense.John & Sawyer wow never thought about them teaming up to kill someone especially John's dad.I didn't blame him either cause he was tempting him to kill him.

Great epi it's really getting back to those great episode's that i love so much on Lost.
