Sayid's a poser. He says everything like he thinks he's so special that every word he says is SIGNIFICANT. Before Jack was picked, early in season 1, Sayid threw his weight around and tried to act like he was leader. He tries to play humble but if you look close you can see he thinks he's great. He thinks he's mister holy holy moral guy wiser than thou and he puts on a big act of being that. He's a pain in the butt and he's fake through and through.

He's fake in another way too. The actor is Anglo-Indian, how the hell is that appropriate for playing an Iraqi? It looks to me like Western racism, like saying "All those dark guys out there are the same". He doesn't look like an Iraqi and he sure as hell doesn't sound like one. You know, there's plenty good Arab actors around, why couldn't one of them be given the part?

His love of Shannon was fake too, otherwise he'd never have forgiven Ana Lucia so easily.

Sayid's a fake all around and I'm thoroughly sick of him being on the show.

:lmao: Okay, I hate to admit it, because he was one of my favorites during the first season, but Sayid's been pretty much dead weight ever since Shannon died ( :( ). The minute she was gone his character was ruined. He became lifeless, and the way he acted around Ana Lucia pissed me off SO MUCH. It cheapened his character and his love for Shannon, I expected so much more from him. So right now I can say I wouldn't mind seeing him gone :shrug:

and i never liked him with shannon because for a guy who is on a plane to find the so called love of his life, how can he suddenly be declaring his everlasting love to a new girl after a month or so?

He's been on my crap list since he tortured Sawyer in season 1. It was just SAD how he shot Ben this season. He was HORRID with Shannon, and his backstory is boring for me. What kind of guy forgets his whole backstory about his true love for some sex on the island from a chic he didnt even get to know first?

Seriously. What nonesense, there wasn't even any chem betweeen Shannon Sayid.

Since then he has continued to make out with more girls whom he has no chem with.

yea, all his times with shannon i mostly just cringed.

and i was rewatching season one and just hated him more watching the ep where he basically caused his friend to kill himself. even his friend was like so sayid you did all this for some woman? sayids selfish and all his love relationships in the show have been shallow and stupid. every woman sayids been with is basically dead--nadya, shannon, elisa or whatever her name was. although ilana isnt my fav, i give her credit for beating sayids ass :) i loved those scenes. dumb sayid thought he was gonna get some but he got a boot in the face.
