This post of mine lead me to the creation of this thread.

I wanted Locke to beat Jack down in the premiere. When Jack was ordering him around.. I was thinking "WTF! Locke is not your little lap dog Jack." If anything Jack should take orders from Locke.


Jack may be the "Leader" but Locke is the .... Holy Man. Even a leader must respect that.

I think my real dislike of Jack came when he was blaming Locke for Boone's death. "Do No Harm" was all about Jack not letting go. which is still didn't want to do. He wasn't mad that Locke lied. Jack was mad because he couldn't save Boone. So he shoved his self-hate on someone else.

Take the guns for example. When Shannon stole the gun key to kill Locke. With no info about the situation Jack blamed Locke for it just because he was mad at him during the time. If Jack wasn't made with Locke he would have blamed Sawyer. In Jack's mind... if he doesn't like you or agree with you, then you must be evil.

Where to even begin?! I complained about him ALOT last season. It just seems like he thinks he is better than everyone else b/c he is a "Man of Science" blah blah blah. I do appreciate how he has helped saved lives on the island and is now the leader. But grrrrrrrrrrr... the way he talks to people, especially Locke and Kate, makes me angry sometimes.

And I still can't get over the fact that he made KATE deliver Claire's baby. There was no one else on the island, of the 40-something survivors, that had more experience in that area? Hmmmm. Oh well. Kate delivered it fine I guess.

Yeah, because he likes Kate best he lets her do everything, whether she's best for the job or not.

He acts as if everyone should just listen to what he says because he is a doctor. He really has done nothing to earn a leadership role IMO. They should have a vote for who they want to be leader. It would come down to 3 people IMO. Jack, Locke, and Sayid. Sayid should get it because he takes the middle ground and thinks before acting.

He treats Kate like a child. Every time Jack didn't know something about her and Kate didn't tell him. He would wag his finger like she was this little child. I can understand wanting to know things but you guys just met, she doesn't have to tell you her life story.

True, Jack does favor Kate before other people on the island. Which is why, when she started to go with Locke you could see this disappoint in his eyes. Your my little doggie...don't go with Mr. Locke...... Kate doesn't even really know you Jack, all she knows is that you try to control everything all the time.

I think the only thing Jack didn't want to be a part of was the hunting and the raft. ... Does he even want to leave the island where he has been made "King"?

I actually don't mind Jack as a character, because I find his conflicts with Locke to be of high importance, as well as entertaining. I do not like him, however, when he's around Kate. He just seems...different around her, and I don't like it.

Jack does bug me a lot sometimes but I don't hate him. I don't like how he treats Kate and Locke a lot of the time, that's my main problem with his character.

I hate how he has so many episodes... his flashbacks aren't that interesting. There are so many charactors I'd rather see, some who've only had one episode...

Same here. I want to know more about Claire, Hurley, and Sun/Jin. Or what about Walt? Have we ever had a flashback from Walt's POV?

After tonights episode and watching how Jack was acting... I'm not sure if it was really him. I'm starting to think that maybe Jack is sick. With whatever illness Danielle said that her people came down with. He was just acting so crazy....

same hear. Im actually one of (it seems like few) that actually like his flashback episodes. And usually im crazy about the guy but tonight he just was getting on my nervous. I wanted to smack him.

It bothered the crap out of me.

No, we only get to see Walt when it's Michael's POV
