Agreed. And now the writers have totally turned things around to end Jacket and get Jate going. But at least they ended Jate in one ep and showed that Kate can't give her heart to junkie Jack whilst she's still thinking about Sawyer and making promises to him. In your face, Jackass.

But the way they showed that he was stringing along Juliet 'cause he wasn't with Kate just sucks. I wasn't a huge fan of the relationship but I at least hoped that Jack had genuine feelings for her.

Turns out that I was wrong and Jack really IS an ass.

He's just a total jerk. He faked sleep whilst Juliet gave Kate that speech because he knows what she said is right and he's not man enough to admit it himself.

I think it stung more his off island behaviour. I think I could get over this coward attics, but he is abusive and scary and I am glad Juliet run far away from him. That man such a Wayne in progress...

I agree, Juliet likely had a lucky escape. Amazing how I almost felt SORRY for him when Sarah left him. ha ha! Now I see that man can never make any woman truly happy because he's too self-involved.

He usually does always scare me, but when he was screaming at kate, and repating "where have u been?!!... i I III saved u not HIM! " he was being really abusive and childish... i mean it was like he was just saying again and again how he had done everything for her, and not sawyer..

like it was a competition or something..

He's one scary man. If I was Kate I'd be fearing for my life and would get out of there as fast I could. Remember, she has baby Aaron to consider. Jack's psychotic episodes shouldn't be allowed to play out with a kid in the house

I am stunned that some people get so defensive/offended when you say anything negative about Jack. I don't like him and I don't think I should have to to sugarcoat it when I am discussing him in a JACK EPISODE THREAD. People are way too defensive about a fake character. I've come to realize that people will think of excuses for his psychotic behavior no matter what.

I think it's ridiculous that we aren't allowed to say anything about Jack without people bitching and the mods swooping in. Ugh no wonder I rarely come to this board anymore.

And considering everything Kate experienced during her childhood with Wayne and her mother, no wonder why she will not tolerate Jack beeing like that around Aaron, not even ONCE!

I never liked Jate, but now is more a matter of ethics. I can´t belive someone can ship an abusive, violent, drunk person with someone they like

If some friend of mine was dating someone like Jack, I would make it my own personal job to make her realize that´s not good for her and she worth more... So, I can´t get how people can actually WANT this relationship to work out...

There's such a thing as 'freedom of speech' and unfortunately if it offends someone then you're immediately reprimanded for it. Jack acted like an ass by the end of that ep and you have every right to say so.
