Yeah, I agree on the whole not impressed by the episode front. I get why it was important -- it establishes the history, etc, but I wasn't too impressed. The cave of light? Come on. Also, the A&E thing was a nice reveal, but didn't necessarily prove they knew what they were doing from the beginning. It's not hard to shape a storyline to match something you've set up in the past. Although I don't doubt they've had some idea of a light v dark, good v evil, white v black thing set up from the beginning (Backgammon, the stones, etc), it didn't really prove anything.
Also, a little creepy that A&E are mother/son? y/y? or am I the only one who thinks that. Although it was a very sweet scene, and definitely made sense in the context of the episode. __________________

The mother was a hypocrite though wasn't she?

Yeah there wasn't anything really new, that would blow you away. Most of the stuff was predictable.
 Well, I will rewatch it tomorrow, maybe it will be different after a second viewing. Adam/Eve being mother/son was kinda creepy. I already knew that from a spoiler but it was still creepy and she seemd a bit too fascinated by him.  __________________

I didn't find it creepy. But I do think people were assuming A&E were a romantic pairing for all these years and now we've seen that's not the case. But if my memory serves me correctly, Darlton said A&E were two characters we'd seen before. And this was, like, back in season four. They're such liars.

It's not like when they wrote A&E into the script, they knew it was MIB and his sort-of-mom. But I like how they're going back to the early seasons and connecting things so it seems as if they had these intentions in the beginning.
