David Fury about Emilie being absent for two episodes: It's simple, really. The cast is enormous for a series and the network would only allow a finite number of regulars (the budget wouldn't support anymore). So some characters could only be afforded as guest stars initially. But that doesn't mean that won't be seen again, or that their fates are predestined. It's really just a matter of creative bookkeeping.

Emilie about her character and the relationship between Charlie and Claire: She wants to do things her own way, but she's now succumbing to accepting a little help from people like Charlie, who's really taken a liking to Claire. There's a friendship that's developed there that I think has also helped him trough his hard times, with coming off his heroin addiction. So, that's been a nice thing there, him helping her and also her helping him. I don't know where the relationship is going beyond a friendship, though.

Dom about the Charlie/Claire relationship: I don't know if it will fully blossom. I keep asking the writers, and they're like, "You know, right now we got something really good going on. It's a very sweet, kind, nurturing kind of friendship. If you guys start making out behind palm trees, it might get a little dirty."

Damon about "Born To Run": I love Charlie and Claire... tonight was just a taste of LOTS more to come, this season and next!

Dom was asked: Charlie and Claire have also surprisingly imploded this season, which has been tough on so many fans rooting for the couple. Was that shake-up something you expected?

It really didn't surprise me because of the nature of this type of episodic televison. They have to set something up and break it down again. The greatest thing about me and Claire's dynamic is that is's not muddled in the what that Jack and Kate and Saywer are- there is something a little weird with that relationship [laughs]! Charlie and Claire are just very genuine. He cares about her and she cares about him. They are very fond of each other and have a dynamic with the baby. I think more then anything else, Claire and Aaron represent something to Charlie that he had been yearning for awhile- someone to take care of an some direction in his life. To play around with that is going to be very heart-wrenching for the audience, but ultimately if and when they possibly get back to together again, that's the cliffhanger. I get a lot of compliments from people on the street saying, "Oh, you and Claire are such a great couple and make such a great team!" I think the reason why, is the midst of all these 'monsters' and blood and death and numbers and weirdness, you've got a beautifully genunie, honest relationship where two people just care about each other.

Claire: It was just a dream.
Charlie: Hmm. I have this dream. I'm driving a bus and... my teeth start falling out... My mum is in the back eating biscuits. Everything smells of bacon. It's weird, Of course, I don't wake up screaming.
Claire: I'm alright, Charlie.
Charlie: Mmm. *swallows* No, of course you are. It's just... I think about you, in this place, how hard it must be for you, without your family and your friends. And I think, we can be friends. I could be your friend. We don't have to do each other's hair or anything, I just mean that, you know, if-if you needed someone to talk to about anything, I'm... here.
Claire: *She looks away then looks up somberly. Charlie looks at her hopefully* Charlie...
Charlie: *A look of defeated understanding crosses his face* Okay.
Claire: I didn't mean it, I-
Charlie: It's cool Claire *pats her lightly on the shoulder* It's cool.

Charlie: Feel another one coming?
Claire: I don't think so.
Charlie: Where the hell is Jack?
Claire: You know, I think... *she gets up and Charlie helps* I think I'm all right.
Charlie: The contractions?
Claire: Maybe that was the last one, *whispers almost to herself* Please let that have been the last one.
Charlie: Jack said that stress can cause, uh, a... "false labour". You sure you're all right?
Claire: No pain.
Charlie: *smiles brilliantly* Birthing emergency averted. I told you I'd take care of you.
Claire: Thanks Charlie.
Charlie: You're quite welcome. You think you can make it back to the caves? *Claire pauses* I won't let anything happen to you.
Claire: *Claire looks down but smiles and nods slowly. She speaks in a soft voice* Okay.
Charlie: *smiles and nods as well* Okay.

Charlie: Please let me carry your bag.
Claire: I'm fine.
Charlie: I know you're fine but I can still carry your bag.
Claire: Why did you come after me?
Charlie: Well... it's probably because I like you. (Claire gives Charlie a *oh come on now*look) What?
Claire: You don't like me Charlie, okay? You just want to rescue me because I'm... because of *gestures to her stomach* 'this'. But I'm fine, okay? I don't need rescuing, I don't need... (Claire grabs her stomack in pain)
Charlie: Whoa, what is it? What? Claire what? What is it?

Claire is sitting by the fire, staring into it. Charlie comes up behind her and wraps a thick blanket around her then sits down beside her.
Charlie: You alright? (Claire nods) Don't worry. If you want to close your eyes, I'll be here all night. I won't let anyone get to you. I won't leave you Claire, I promise.

Claire: I remember peanut butter. Why do I remember peanut butter.
Charlie: *grins happily* It was imaginary peanut butter, actually.
Claire: I dont know what happened to me. I'm scared. I wanna trust you. *pauses* Goodnight, Charlie.
Charlie: Goodnight, Claire.

Charlie: Claire, here is your journal. It might help. And his is where you sleep. Its quite cozy, isnt it? When he, Ethan, when he took you away, he took me too. Yhe others came after us. They got me back but you, you were gone.
Claire: Who is he? Ethan?
Charlie: Ethan...Ethan's the bad guy.
Claire: So we were together then. Why did he leave you?
Charlie: Why don't we leave that lovely story for the morning? You've had enough for one day.
Claire: Aw, I won't be sleeping.
Charlie: Oh, lucky for me. Not much of a sleeper myself. Finally I'll have someone to stay up with.
Claire: We're friends?

Sun: In a hospital, they would have you sleep. The nurses would take your baby.
